Wow,what a wonderful surprise 😲. To wake up to this ,this morning. Greetings and 🤶 chrismas wishes to you Rodd and your viewers from New Zealand. Happy 😊 Holidays....................
What a fabulous Silver Cloud I worked in a petrol station in the 90s we had a customer who owned one and would fill up once a week in the summer when he used it. I heard when he passed away he left it to his secretary in his will, his wife was not too pleased with the bequest.
I agree. A car of this vintage should have whitewalls. Just as the Rolls' from the '70s & '80s should have the 1.5" whitewalls. These cars look best when they're displayed how they would have appeared when new, from the factory. 👍
You have a Beautiful Showroom. You should write a book; telling us how you got started, and the wonderful stories about your customers. It would be fascinating reading !!
This car would have been like a space ship in '62. I've never seen a spot light like this one has and I'm guessing that was the ancestor of the modern high beam.
Mr. Sala that is just a magnificent Silver Cloud! Thank you so much for the guided tour! I am hoping you will do a years-end tour of the showroom. I saw something interesting in Chocolate brown, possibly another Cloud? And a glimpse of a few SZ's. Also, I have been wanting to ask a few questions of you for quite some time now. Is it possible to fit a right-side outside mirror on say a Silver Shadow if it does not have one factory fitted? (Manually adjustable, I would assume). If so, is it difficult to keep from destroying the integrity of the door, to keep it from rusting? Also, is it difficult to add Fog Lights? And, how about the "Third" Tail light in the rear window as in the SZ? When your shop prepares a car for sale is there typically a thorough check of the suspension system. And if it has not already been so modified, will your shop install the R.H. Bailey Suspension Upgrade on a Silver Shadow? Is it your experience that an SZ car benefits from this upgrade, as well? Best Holiday Wishes!
Hi Steve. I’ll try get sone more videos over the Xmas period. Too many questions to answer here in a you tube commentary so feel free to simply call me. My details are in my website. In the meantime, inbrief: You can fit a right hand mirror but there are certain methods to be observed. Fog light can readily be installed without issue. All our cars go thru what’s called “Predelivery Commissioning”. A very thorough process that can take several weeks to ensure everything is in top shape. This includes the ever important hydraulic braking and suspension system. When this process is completed all major and minor services are done and the car is ready to be delivered in “turn-key” status. This includes all operational features such as AC, windows, seats etc. Harvey Bailey upgrades are readily doable by us, no problem.
Hello Sir, A very special car indeed, the only one of its kind ? I'm thinking so, never seen one like that. Seen LWB Deviider windows with small bar, a couple Radford builds. I've worked on over a 100 Clouds in the Beverly Hills area and Orange County, exclusive Rolls Royce car dealerships and Concannon's Horseless Stables in Costa Mesa, Calif. early 80's, 90's and 2000. Thank you for showing that beauty 😂.
What??? No RR logo,on the fine china??? How infra dig!!! However, the rest of the accoutrements more than make up for it!! My 59 CLOUD II is beautiful but not as much!!!! Love Radford extras!!!
I live near Bigfork, Montana, I wish I had the opportunity to see this wonderful motor car parked somewhere along Flathead Lake with people fishing and having a picnic that would’ve been something - cheers!
Dear Mr Sala, as I am extremity lucky to have the same awesome car - however its not a LWB - My car also has this Rotaflare rotating light in front of the grill. Thus is correctly not connected to the car. However I can't figure out how this should be connected to the car. Could you please send me some pictures/ detailed video how the light and wiring should be connected? Thank you so much in advance
