I love that. I have foil quill pens in different thickness. Haven’t used it because I wasn’t sure what to do with it. Love a fun win. Want to go do it now but off to sleep.

I’d really recommend a magnetic mat and some strong magnets (the ones used to hold open music books). Then you can hold down the foil without risking damaging your picture. I use mine all the time for holding stuff down so it will stay still while I’m applying embellishments. WRMK do a self healing magnetic mat so you can cut on it too.

You said it, the foil pen is amazing! I love the photo too, and the little dots on the trees are perfect. I cut the bigger peaces of the adhesive paper into 4x6 and I use them in my Epson PM400 ;)

Love everything about this page!! I can see how I can make it easier for myself with the falala die cut or adding text in photoshop instead of buying the foil quill - but let’s be real all of us are trying to buy that foil quil ;)

Could you use the foil quill for the Silhouette just by hand? It probably wouldn’t be that comfortable to write with but that way you don’t need both and also wouldn’t need to buy the bigger version as well. I have the one for the silhouette, maybe I will try that

Good question! The one that goes into the Silhouette has a pen tip that isn't exposed until it's in the machine. I don't think it would work.

Omgg I also have a bokeh tree in my album, too, but it’s not mine. It’s a tree in my neighborhood; the story is about how grateful I am for all the lovely colorful lights, now that I have to walk my dog or walk home from the train station in the dark at 5 pm haha - cool spread! Enjoying all your experimentation this year 🙌🏾🙌🏾 (hoooh boy I might have to get a foil quill now?!!?)
