Yes I'm pretty fair too and that Milani powder darkens my face. I can lightly use it on the borders of my face but it darkens and looks too yellow on the center and under my eyes.

I’m so with you on the fun of buying things for people because you thought hard about their lives and what you think would make them happy. It’s so fun to see their reaction. I find shopping for gifts so much fun. On a related note, I got my daughter, who is a new NICU nurse, a weighted heating pad for after a 12 hour shift. She uses it every night. The year before I got her a heated body pillow. Things she would never buy herself or even know about. Great video. Your hair looks terrific.

The gel eyeliners from beauty pie are the only liners I can use in my upper lash water line. They never irritate, transfer or smudge. Also, they are very affordable.

The LA girl lip liner in that same component is also so good!

Cleansing balms you are trying to just use up can make a great shaving oil.

The thing that really stood out to me was the neck pillow at the end - you're right, a gift that made someone think of you means SO much more! I hate the scent of lavender so I did a search and found several on Amazon with either other scents or unscented that fits the bill so much better. Thanks for including that product!

I have to try the eyeliner and the neck pillow thing. I have a disc that’s in the nerve of my neck and that pillow sounds like a dream! Thank you for the heads up on the ELF puff. I was trying to get it for awhile but I’ll stick with the set I got off Amazon and the Blendiful I bought from Tati Beauty when it was available.

I am not much of a New Year’s resolution person but this year I am going to try to live in the now and not always in the future, also having more gratitude for my family and friends. Just a little suggestion regarding razors. My husband and I both shave a lot and switched from disposable razors to a straight razor. There are many different brands, we purchased two from Rockwell and absolutely love them. Not only are we saving money and all that plastic from going into the landfill, we both feel we are getting superior shaves. Just food for thought. wishing you and your family a new year full of happiness and good health💖

I love that eyeliner, too! I even purchased the lighter beige-nude color and use it on my waterline. Great product! You should check it out! I picked up heart shape powder puffs on Amazon, they're wonderful and the shape is really handy not only the point but the two curves of the top of the heart. They're pink and gray I highly recommend!

I literally just tried those razors for the first time last week. I too have sensitive skin, and so far that razor has been working great for me!

I would love a review on eyeliners under eyes as I have yet to find one that doesn't smear or disappear during the day.

I have 2 shades of the LA Girl liners. At first I did like them because they were the only ones that stayed put for a few hrs in my waterline (never all day without transferring though) even compared to mid to high-end brands but once I tried Essence liners I haven't touched them. I just need Essence to come out with more colors, lol. My SIL use to make those heated bags for our family members often. All different shapes for different parts of the body. I was thankful to receive them but as someone who deals with chronic pain in several areas of my body having to get up to heat the bags defeated the purpose for me. I'll stick with my moist heating pad, lol. I have to shave like you. Buying expensive razors was pissing me off. In the comments of someone's video a viewer recommended the Equate brand from Walmart. I purchased a single just to test it out. The following month I went back and bought the refills. They're also 5 blades with 2 moisturizing strips but at a fraction of the price for the name brand ones. Not only are they great razors just a heads up. If you already have the Gillette Venus Swirl main shaver the Equate refills can be used with it. Hope this is helpful for someone else... 🙂

Interesting. The Laura mercier ultra blur translucent looks a bit white beige on me (i have a light-medium tan skintone, i def go iver it with a bit of yellow powder. Shouldve gone with the second shade.

Have you tried the Farmacy balm? I love it so much but it is expensive and I’m looking for a cheaper alt!

I have tried so many cleansing balms and hands down my favorite is the Banila Clean It Zero! Others are too greasy, too hard to use (like the Neutrogena one), or too eye-irritating.

Yes that cleansing balm was horrible. I also found that it actually didn't remove my makeup that well.

The way you described the Nutrogena cleansing balm is the same way I felt about the Nuturium cleansing balm. It’s too thick, doesn’t melt easily & turns into a triple cleanse every time! Not a fan.

First of all this was a great video thank you for the content!! Second, I see what you mean about Christmas and links but a lot of people are trying to be more conscious of the wast they put on this planet. And sending a list of specific things you actually want will insure that you use it over every one just getting random things that you think they may perhaps like an it end up being wasteful and taking up space because you’d feel guilty throwing it away or something (if I seem bitter it’s because it’s happened too many times to me 😭😭) . Again I get what you mean/ can see where you are coming from with the sentiment, but I just feel like sending links shouldn’t be looked down on. I can understand if you naturally feel different about it tho.

i’ve tried the la girl eyeliner before and it’s not the best when you try to do a wing with it. it tugs on my eyes too much 😢 i’ll try to use it to tightline instead!

Emily Noel has said the Milani powder is too dark for her undereyes.

The Milani powder is WAY too dark for fair skin. I've had this problem with Milani donations and powders before. Even shades that are light enough are frequently too yellow.
