I loved the Beavis and Butthead intro to the video! It's a perfect representation of the idiocy of Runamuck and Runabout!

They may be the 'redshirts' of the Decepticons but they're still two of my fave transformers. Just finished modding my War for Cybertron Battlechargers to look more cartoon accurate. They look the business! Right vandals! :)

YES! Finally! Not only one of my favorite duos of Transformers, but also two of my favorite characters.

Two of the coolest Cons out there. Wish they had more media about them.

I loved this, but around 8:38 you say they transform into a Lotus Esprit. In actuality they're both "Catfish" Camaros. This is the first time they would share the same vehicle mode, as Runamuck was a Pontiac Trans-Am when Runabout was a Lotus Esprit.

Classic intro, hoss: it's the perfect way to describe them. I'd love to hear Mike Judge guest-voice them in at least one scene in the WFC show.

Loved that beavis and butthead intro. Would love to say I loved the characters featured in this retrospective but they didn’t appear enough in the original cartoon to make an impression, I guess galvatron made good on his promise to have them turned into scrap. Plus those toys with the pull back motor were ones I really did not appreciate as a kid. Still a very cool retrospective giving me a chance to appreciate these characters that the cartoon did not.

Runamuck and Runabout, the beavis and butthead of the transformers universe. Even Derrick J Wyatt picture them as beavis and butthead. Also, I love the opening intro it fits thrm perfectly.

You've gotta do this collaborations in the intro from time-to-time, quite fun actually. Comparing these two Decepticons to Beavis and Butthead really brought me back nostalgia.

Runamuck and Runabout are two of the hardest charging Decepticons Megatron's got. And what do they get? Duty on this stinkin' planet.

The Battlechargers would be a very easy addition to future shows, simple palette swaps with minor voice differences to serve as a duo of incompetent bunglers, starter villains for the Autobots to face off against but also comic relief.

Learned so much about them. Knew about them as a kid, never had them but now I do. Outstanding video.

As a kid ( must of been around 7) I had two transforming toys exactly the same as Top spin and twin twist but definitely wasn't official transformers. Must of been knock off versions, they actually didn't transform on there own . You've literally just jolted my memories of my grandma buying me them . Wow ,thank you.

I always remembered it was RunaBout being black because B = Black.

I always wanted to see a video about these two, they seem interesting characters in season 3, I wish to see them more in future Transformers franchises, thank you for doing a retro video about them.

Runamuck and Runabout were the precursors to Beavis and Butt-Head.

Friction rifle which causes someone to burst into flames if they move reminds me of the effects of the Final Fantasy IX blue magic Mustard Bomb, which causes the "Burned" Status effect. If any action is taken, the affected individual is KO'ed.
