Hey man late seeing this one, just got in from work, As youve discovered the Omega beacons can be dodgy in caves, tbh you dont need a cave i remember you saying someone told you to place in a cave, but there is a couple other types of places you can use and tbh if you find the right location is better, it takes a little trial and error to place it exactly, but look for a dead end valley with Cliffs/steep sides then you just got to place the beacon as far back into the dead end you can but so that they dont spawn in the cliffs. Valguero is a great map for this, also there are places where cliffs are somewhat close to the map edge/wall creating a similar sort of area as before. Basically for spawning tames you will be fine in the cave, but for bosses it could be very tricky especially when bosses are wyverns/dragons. all depends on the cave, But for spawning other stuff for getting miracles etc you want them to stay together in a small area this is when backing them into a corner is much better.

You should be able to put the saddle in the Imbue station to upgrade it as well as your weapons. You can put in a weapon, upgrade it, use a crafting potion (if you have them or high crafting) to create another one using the bp (which will be even higher), then create another bp from it, then rinse and repeat.
Oh just a pointer to save you a lot of time, the only semi success we had fighting bosses with normal dinos was with fully super bred Shadows and lots and lots and lots of them like 30+ each fight even then sometimes just not enough. You will be requiring Uniques Unless the mod has completely changed from ASE, Normal dinos are mainly just for messing about on, they just arent strong enough in the end. Normal dinos can be useful in a few situations but they are when paired up with the unique saddle. The Unique Anky sdaale gives the anky more dmg and a Mahooouuuuusive tail! Mercury is a good one for turning into a hybrid When getting Unique dinos, Level is better than Rank because you can upgrade their Rank up to Elite
Rass you should check out the resource collector it works just like the egg collector you just integrate your resource dinos and it passively generates the resources of whatever is in it
So, now you have high paragon creatures. Mythical is not the best choice, Nature or Cosmic have better stat multipliers, but it'll do. You next step would be to get some good saddles. Ascendant ones imbued with elite essences. You're looking for melee damage increase, percentage-based damage reduction and possibly reduction from Unstable, otherwise Self-Destructive is going to oneshot your creature, especially self-destructive bosses. Corrupting altar is good, you want to use the one that removes one stat and doubles all others, and hope it removes something useless. Another thing you should look into are the potions. You will get some as loot from bosses, but even basic tier healing potions are going to make a ridiculous amount of difference. You can feed them manually to your creatures, or you can tame a Potion variant shoulder mount. Another thing, I don't know if it is still a thing in ASA, but aside from medallions that you've seen, there is something called an Affinity Medallion. Killing a Rex gives a chance of it dropping Rex Affinity Medallion, which will increase stats of Rex you are riding. And if you're going to stick with those Rexes, summon a bunch of basic tier Mythical bosses until you get Gorgon and feed its soul to a Rex, it will double its stats.
Being able to increase paragons by breeding is not a common rule in Omega. I don't know if that's a thing in just current version of ASA or depending on your settings, but generally, it is set so babies always have 0 paragon no matter how much their parents have. The only way to gain a new creature with paragon was to clone it, using Omega Cloning Chambers. Usually, it works in a way that you pick a creature and focus exclusively on that creature, without using disposable hordes. Because it's so powerful, you are less likely to lose it, but if you do, it is a devastating blow.
Did I misunderstand something? I havent played ASA yet but on ASE you couldn't breed paragon levels, you had to breed the dino then pump each one with paragons, or am I remembering wrong. Why does him saying he "bred them until paragon 10" trigger my brain, did Hexen change the way paragons work on ASA? I don't have Ark or Omega downloaded and I'm so confused, someone help me please, lol 🤔
@@akumuryuu good call, you are probably right, the server I played on we were on breeding 3, which meant the dinos dont have to be the same sub-variant but have to be the same variant. there is probably a breeding setting where paragons do pass on, that is weak sauce but a MASSIVE time saver, hunting for paragons can be annoying and time consuming.
What setting do you have for breeding on your server? I’m having issues getting my Dino’s to breed. I’ve heard you have to have specific setting in order to breed specific Dino types together? This is my first time running my own server
