Deck Review: Shadowscapes 

Wild Unknown hits very hard coz of the sharp contrast in its colour theme. Its on opposite ends. Thats probably why you couldn't resonate with it. Shadowscapes is softer, more balanced, the colours dissolve into each other, thats probably more fitting for you due to the gentle mood it sets 😊

Basically I will never need another habit. Occasionally a glass of wine, but tarot it is.

I really enjoyed this! I also I'm in love with the shadow scapes deck! I find it is extremely nice for reading intuitively. this was my second tarot deck ever and I remember drawing the Hierophant card a long time ago and immediately I understood the deeper symbolism behind this card, which I feel is it difficult one to get into with the RWS. loved your comment on poetry as well. thank you Kelly xoxo

Thank you so much for this review! I had been eyeing this stunning deck on instagram for about a week, and went ahead and bit the bullet right before finding my way to your review. The poem you shared at the beginning really resonated with me, because the only reason I hesitated was the cost, and when I finally took the plunge after a week of admiring from afar, I was feeling kind of guilty. The message in the poem soothed my soul, and also gave me some insight as to why I may have been so drawn to this particular set. I'm excited to receive my first ever deck and learn more about this art form :)

I just love shadowsscapes it was my first purchased deck after my houseburned down in 2010 and i lost everything (including my carddecks). It helped me reconnect to Tarot again and now i love tarot evenmore. Wished the cards where bigger .. but thats my personal preference because the art is truely stunning! coudn't live without this deck

I also love this deck ! Even if the borders were quite nice, I trimmed it and really don't regret. I bought some of the artist's books, I am so in love with her art ! Good idea to have the app too ! Thanks Kelly !

How funny!!! My very first tarot deck was the llewellyn welsch tarot and my second deck was shadowscapes! I have to agree with you. I am in love with both of those decks.

I just bought this deck yesterday at B&N, I wasn't sure at first but it told me to go ahead and buy it. I'm so glad I did, I absolutely love it!! Thanks for the info on the app!! and for ppl who don't want to spend money on the app, google has a survey app, google opinion rewards, and you can earn google play credit! it takes a while to build but I buy all my apps with free credits, just a helpful tip! LL

The artwork and color pallet remind me so much of the paintings by Sulamith Wulfing, one of my favorite artists.

I would love to have a copy of the little white book. I find the full guide book almost too flowery in it's language on occasion and it feels like the actual card meaning really gets lost. Especially for the Aces which I've struggled with significantly.

Kelly it's 2:30 a.m. here in Ontario Canada so yesterday was my Birthday. I must i must ... i must make a decision what new deck i am going with...it's not that i feel pressured it's just ....i really want to treat myself. Anyway i just LOVE this deck....the colors the detail the use of the symbols...wow. It just puts me in a spell. Thank you so much Kelly i think i will even buy the book...as i love to read and there is something about holding a book rather than using an app. that strikes a cord with me. Thank you so much Kelly i think this deck will be perfect !!! Sooo now the next step is i guess to go to Amazon to order...i am really...really...really excited and want to do it now but tomorrow is another day and my daughter is going to help with the on'line stuff. I have this deck too, and I absolutely love Stephanie Pui-Mun Law's artwork. So much so that I've taken up watercolors myself and bought her art books too. I really don't like the card stock though. Do you think this deck would hold up through laminating?

I'm a fangirl for Stephanie Pui-Mun Laws artwork too, and I LOVE the Shadowscapes Tarot! ♥︎ ♥︎ ♥︎ I feel a very strong connection to it and it's one of the decks that I can read intuitively ☆ It's one of my top 3 Tarot decks (besides the Greenwood and the Tarot of Transformation) I hope, someday they will publish a bigger card version ... the same size as the DruidCraft but borderless would be great :) By the way, I love to watch your videos - they are very insightful and inspiring! ☆ Blessings ☆

You are absolutely right. Nobody reads and talks about poetry anymore :( Thanks for the Teasdale poem. Downloading the app now and will eventually get the deck, but I have Chronicles of Destiny on the way and have to be in control with spending right now. :) We seem to have similar tastes when it comes to cards, storytelling, books, etc. Are there any other tarot apps you use that you would recommend? Thanks again for the review.

I'm not sure about this deck, maybe one day I'll check an app, read it an view the cards and then decide. As to Fool's Dog apps, the only "but" I have for them is, text could be more neatly formatted, but other then that, fantastic tool. And zooming cards looks good even on tablet. :)
