Installed 1100 sq ft of Voyage. Scratches like a mofo. If boards rub against each other, scratches occur so shipping can scratch them. Holds dirt firmly and hard to clean deep dirt.
Scratch durability is not super high on Voyage. That's one of the trade offs. Certain types of dirt do stick in there more - especially clay and masonry dust.
I've filed a warranty claim. They want me to take care of it on my dime and find a repairmen for $25. Are they kidding? I can't get a teenager to cut my lawn for $25. Warranty sucks.
Oh, and I am suing the company in small claims court if they make me jump through all these hoops after spending $66,000 for this desk. We're talking one measly board and they won't send someone! File a claim and you are on your own, don't expect them to help much.
Deckorators MBC lines are great for around a pool because of the traction, and the fact that it's unaffected my moisture. Anything from the Vault or Voyage lines would work.
How does it hold up to fade and warranty issues as a company? We just got this line in ND and need to hear from those who have some years under their belts.
You receive a 25 year fade and stain warranty. The product hasn't been out that long, but they do accelerated UV tests to prove performance before releasing and warranting for it. And should anything not perform as promised, the warranty will step in.
So TimberTech Pro has a wide range of price points. This Deckorators line would be similar. Frontier would be comparable to Pro Terrain. Vault would be comparable to Pro Reserve. And Voyage would be comparable to Pro Legacy. All of TimberTech Pro line has wood filler.
