I am pro Modi but this man has many valid questions which are needed to ask. I don't know why opposition isn't bringing those subjects into discussion in the public.😡
I like the way he so bluntly dropped the truth bombs without taking any political biases, and just illuminated his main objective on National Development Strategies. Well time invested in your podcast Sir. 🇮🇳
Truth bombs? He compared GER with literacy rate, when GER is about enrollment in +12 education. Don't you consider a 10th pass or a 12th pass as literate? Then he deliberately hid so many facts about BD and it's economy. He has been massively misleading, and one can only wonder why.
I am just shocked listening to this man.. it didn’t feel like it was one hour long literally can hear him all day long truly gem of a person we need such people or advisors for us and the country and thé government… thankyou Sir❤
Many thanks. There are issues that people don't like talking about. But they are crucial for the very survival of India as a concept, and as being truly atma nirbhar.
RN Bhaskar, an economics professor whom I personally know from my time at Jadavpur University, comes across as a rather disapproving figure. Having a strong inclination towards leftist ideologies, he consistently expresses a pessimistic view about India. His critiques often target India's political and economic landscape, while he tends to favor authoritative regimes, particularly evident in his admiration for China's political system. I distinctly recall his support for Mamata Banerjee's economic policies during her tenure as the Chief Minister of West Bengal. It's important to approach his views with caution, as he is known to present data selectively, sometimes inaccurately, contributing to a skewed perspective. As someone who has distanced myself from leftist ideologies, I encourage others to independently research and understand the intricacies of a country's economy, urging skepticism towards Bhaskar's viewpoints. 🙏
@@madhabghosh7018 you're absolutely correct. You see, his prediction on GDP growth has gone wrong. India is growing at 7+ I too have seen how the leftist idea has ruined Bengal. And less spoken of Mamata Banerjee is better. Hearing him a lay person will conclude that nothing is going good for India. It's a very bleak picture. He might be right in certain things, but he did not discuss about the farm laws which would have really benefitted the farmers.
@@santa4091 Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It seems like you're interested in our country's economy, especially with a focus on achieving greater growth for a brighter future. In my opinion, a growth rate of 7% is insufficient for attaining the status of an economic superpower; I believe we need to aim for growth rates between 10% to 12%. I appreciate the efforts of the current government in this regard. However, it's important to remain cautious of certain influences, particularly those from certain quarters, like Lifts, who can be manipulative, especially when it comes to data interpretation. Having been part of Lifts previously, I've witnessed firsthand their inclination towards outdated ideologies and their tendency to romanticize past eras, such as the 70s and 80s, often overlooking issues like poverty and casteism.
What the opposition is missing is views of this man... Right questions that are good for the nation.... Thanks Raj for bringing such an honored person on the show
If the government of the day does not like questions and suggestions how will there be any improvement. An eye opener is the farmer agitation where the govt was not willing to listen and nearly 800 farmers died. Govt focus is not development of human resources but on frivolous things like renaming cities, places, Hindu rashtra, hindu-muslum hate and building mandirs. India has 2 million mandirs already still we want to build more mandirs. Focus should be building more schools, hospitals, good laboratories, skills building.
It is the head of the country’s job to assemble think tanks and brainstorm… head of the country leads the nation not a particular party… unfortunately he is busy in the streets asking votes. And, promoting himself. Opposition party has a key role in democracy without which refining won’t happen. When government is busy trying to not have an opposition party how’s it possible.

He is talking about the growth of Amul, he is talking about things that were done because they were possible in the then existing socialist policies. Well, socialism worked for Amul, but it pushed the entire country to bankruptcy. IND had to approach IMF for loans, literally shipped physical gold. If you align with his views, I can only wish good luck to you.
@@ahamasmiarinm If there is anyone who really made the farmers stronger, it was Lal Bahadur Shastri and Verghese Kurien. Many others only spoke about farmers, but did precious little to make them atma nirbhar. Sloganeering alone does not help. The best podcast so far. Government needs to improve it's trade policy and education system. The point which hit me the most was where education lacks ideology enters. Right questions won't be asked until the people will become educated and well-aware which every government wants.
I don't agree on this. According to my opinion education is growing very much in coaching within the colleges. Look at the packages offered by colleges for coaching in their assrooms. Isn't that a growth in education field ??
Many thanks. Without education, and incomes -- and healtch care -- you cannot have a proud nation which is both self reliant and on the path to growth.
Congress ne desh ki boht band bajai hai. Now that doesn't mean I'm anti congress, because eventually it's the society/ public. Some people with money and power corrupt the whole system. This man is telling what government is lacking, which btw is really important. But we shouldn't forget that, even though bjp has it's own flaws yet it's by far the best government we have today simply because of simple fact that they did what they said. Now nobody talks about the rohingyas, bangladeshi illegal immigrants and the way they're giving subsidy to madarsa and muslim community in the name of minorities. Because we have a lot to deal with what previous government has done, do not forget that national security, education and development are equally important. Most important thing is intent of a politician, businessman, bureaucrats and common man. If we love our country, we'd want it to grow at any cost.
Most of his data is factually incorrect UP produces more milk than Gujarat. India's exports have increased not decreased $770 billion in FY 2022-23 $676 billion in FY 2021-22 India's GDP per capita is higher than Bangladesh Bangladesh did overtake India during Covid year But in 2022 we overtook BD. BD gdp $420 Bn Pop. 172 Mn Gdp per capita - $2441 Ind gdp $3.73 trillion Pop. 1.42 Bn Gdp per capita - $2661
@@aajkayuva8694 He has another podcast, where he says Adani doesn't need to worry about debts , but only profits. Look how Adani got shaken. He is theoretical guy, not practical. He was spreading class war by saying only bramhins in school as if others aren't intelligent enough to complete schooling in tier2 and 3. In Bengal most top ranking aren't bramhins. I feel he keeps some remote city as reference and keep bragging numbers.
Your numbers are not correctly projected. Your exports figures have software exports numbers too. Software sale numbers have always been kept separate from the traditional trade (tradable goods) exports wherein manufacturing firms form a major component. Manufacturing has proverbially speaking almost collapsed in India since the last 5-7 years. Look at the MSME industries that has been almost decimated. Leather is one of the major parts of the MSME industry in India. Take the entry level cell phones, entry level (affordable) cars, scooters/bikes, affordable housing all have collapsed in sales. As for Bangladesh GDP/capita comparison, your argument at best is childish quibbling when the numbers are almost similar as of now but most importantly he talked with reference to population density which is almost 3 times in Bangladesh and yet they have an almost similar GDP/capita as India and they were ahead of India for some time. They may very well overtake India again, you never know. But the fact is that their population density is 3 times that of India. That cannot change overnight. That reality will remain for some decades to come. Can India’s GDP/capita miraculously increase 3 times that of Bangladesh overnight? The plain answer NO. UP milk production being more than Gujarat is exactly same as arguing that India’s wheat, rice, milk, or for that matter any other production is more than almost any other country in the world in magnitude. Of course it will be higher because they (UP) has the largest population in India. By itself UP could be the 6th largest country in the world. But on per capita basis, it may be a sub Saharan African poor country. UP scrapes and corrodes the rest of the country, specially states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, TN, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana etc, UP gets 200%-400% times money back from the centre as opposed to what these above states get only 20-30% back in state share.l against the taxes shared towards central government’s consolidated funds. UP leaches upon rest of India. In conclusion both the set of numbers that you have shared fall flat on rational grounds.
@@pamtam1 Manufacturing exports have also increased 422 Bn FY 2022 450 Bn FY 2023 And what are childish nos, Nos. Are nos. while all the limelight is hogged by Adani, & Ambani. But it's people like Mr. Kurien who have built India ground up. hope they will be remembered, & inspire the next generations.
Who is working in the Ambani and Adani industries like cement, oil, airports, telecom, power, ports, etc Pakistanis ? You cannot run your country by milk only.
Kurien helped organise the milk industry in india. He copied technology for the dairy industry, setup processes, systems, built organisations etc. But he also made mistakes and was ignorant of a few things like. 1-- a caged animal cannot produce the same healthy stuff as a freely grazing animal. 2-- u cannot take the milk of another species for life when even the host species drinks it only at its initial growing stage. The body will automatically react in the form of auto immune disease called diabetes 1 or 2. 3-- you cannot alter the components of milk by removing them away or adding altered substances such as milk powder, soy etc and hope to get the same benefits from homogenisation, pasteurisation, milk powder etc as from fresh milk, fresh buttermilk, fresh curd etc 4-- you cannot rape an animal thru artificial insemination repeatedly and not incur karmic debt 5-- you cannot over produce milch cattle and then abandon them after over exploiting them for the first few years. 6 -- the problems of transporting milk over longer distances may be mitigated by innovative solutions like refrigerated trucks or small sized plastic bags but ultimately will have costs like environmental disposal costs, health costs of a stale food or unnecessarily eating a wrong substance for an extended period of time etc
Funny how the host is uncomfortable throughout because the reality doesn't match his perception of India. Funny how this interview broke my perception too. Dilli bahot door hai abhi bhi bahot mehnat baaki hai!

The thing I understood from this was that how milk farmers are being protected by the cooperative system and how others, wheat/rice/vegetables farmers, are getting suppressed by the monopolies/mafia. Education has been globally disseminated through religion and its institutions. In India, this responsibility was entrusted to Brahmins/Pandits/Prophets. Unfortunately, they have failed us, resulting in India being one of the most undereducated societies in the world today. 🙏
@Raj Shamani - one thing which I don't agree with Sh. Bhaskar ji is why the government is focusing on changing the names and identities of cities, bringing back language, etc., and not focusing on education. The first part may be required to preserve one's past identity, but however, while focusing on 1st point, whereas at the same time we should not forget the 2nd part - i.e. education. As he said, we are really far too lagging behind in education. If you look around, every kid and teenager is busy in making reels, and tick-tocks and doesn't have any life skills. He rightly said if we want to be a manufacturing hub, where are the technically skilled people? You will find a lot of people seeking employment but the majority of them are idiots, non-emploable. Overall - the session has great insights. The one hour spend is really insightful, and knowledgeable, and thank you very much for bringing Shri Bhaskar ji on show. Great work.
Bhai, kaha se communist utha kar la diye. Having objectivity and being highly opinionated are two different things. Being oblivious to all that's happening good and only highlighting selective data, and that too data mein data. He was like, West Bengal ka education system is bad cause Kolkata ke ek school mein 2 teachers are on paid leave. Towards the last section of the podcast (last 10 minutes), he's all about China China China. Man, someone send him to China. It hurt me alot when he said that "Kabhi bhi India top par nahi pahunchega". The exact words of Raghu Ram Rajan. And then he starts blabbering again about China. Dude, most of the data coming out of China is questionable. Also, it's virtually a dictatorship. There is no comparison. What China can achieve in a day, India will take 2-3 years (and I'm not exaggerating). Look at land acquisition, for example. Plus, his understanding about Bangladesh is flawed. Religious fundamentalism is being controlled? Sure. Cause they've wiped out most of the minorities. Only 7-8% Hindus left. I was watching this one post watching your one on one with him on Adani. While his compilation of what all Adani did is appreciable (cause that's something that has already happened and all he did was compile it), his analysis of India is flawed and biased cause that's what's going to happen in the future and he has no clue. Bas haste haste jo mann mein aaya bol gaya. Please don't call such narcissistic and pessimistic people. Absolute waste of time!
India has been changed a lot in last decade under strong leadership. May be this gentleman is living on the moon so He is not able to see infrastructure, economic, geopolitical, cultural changes.
This is the first podcast I have ever watched discussing so bluntly about the government policies and not just criticising but giving suggestions for each problem. I hope all the intellectuals should watch this podcast and the government should work as per these suggestions. Very informative and almost every topic is covered in just a single podcast. 🙏🙏
All the pillars of democracy is corrupt in India. It's like we are waiting for it to fall. People are afraid to go to police station and courts. Then why are they there. If judiciary and executive can't do their job, then why are they there.
@@dragsterbixing2584sahi kaha ! Hindu bas development ke baare me soche. Or dusri taraf ek kaum , jehad ka socho , jaanat jaane ka soche, riots kare. Chumtiya bas hinduo ka Banta h. Or gyaan bhi hame hi chodte h.🤡
Mujhe bas itna batado agr India itna bura hai then why are investors investing here .?.if Bangladesh then why big corporates are not shifting to Bangladesh.?why Indian share market is breaking all time high ?…
Seems like our country is strong only on papers. Sirs point is very much valid. If we focus more on basics improvement rest things will become easier to be improved. And his point to maintain good relationship with our neighbour’s than with western nations was bingo.
In my opinion, swadhinata ke baad hi europe ka pirate culture ka education policy chalate thee. Swabhabik rup se sustaining colonial education system ko barbad karna e thaa congress ko. Har institution me left liberals ko,, jinka janam hua wo european universities se, baitha diya hamara education system/policy decline karwa diya. Congress party angrej ka agent hai na ?
Thank you very much for bringing such content here. Intelligent and rational, Mr.Bhaskar, thank you for your in depth knowledge. Didn't know this harsh reality.
I wonder why no body thought of this earlier ie make Indian's employable sustainably, and solve india's unemployment problem in perpetuity till posterity skill india, start up India are laudable steps by the government of India in this direction like all project's these too need to be nurtured and handled with care these projects need to be religiously run all over the country for decades to come for visible results ❤❤❤❤❤
If India is want to grow then we have to- 1. Educate Indians in every possible way. Such as whereas summer workshop to teach financial freedom, assess to internet even in schools show them real life examples. Focus on practical knowledge, taught them values, ethics, culture, heritage, and the resources that we have. 2. In 20's we have to experiment multiple things and find our own niche where we actually grow. No matter what you like, it might be farming, job, professional, business or even awareness. 3. Less wastage of natural resources, and more use of natural energy. If government is not there but we can help ourselves. 😊 I hope it make sense. Thank you Raj for the episode even with cough. Get well soon.😊
