please think about making a video about protecting your heart against against bad influence; social media or unbelievers; old friends. I've heard you say something short about that on one of your videos. please go into more detail about it. I need help in understanding this x I try to plant a seed in old friends on Facebook but then it's like a cloud slowly comes over me and I think they have got to me more than I have got the gospel to them lol
love it. funny I just made a video recently that hasn't uploaded yet on contentment. I made it cuz I was going about my day and things kept coming to me so I decided to make a video . and you touched on some of what I was talking about too. it's neat how people sometimes think about the same ideas and don't even know it. I love your channel and your the one I watch on a regular bases. I am looking forward to my data being back to a faster speed. so I can view things without it buffering a ton. lol
I’ve had a difficult time transitioning from a 4K size home to a 1k condo, with a teen and tween. There is no closet space. Been trying for 3 years, constantly reorganizing with little improvement. Side note- I do teach at several co-ops and run a Shakespeare co-op. These do provide the ability to homeschool. But I’m running out of room for necessities. My hubby works 70 hrs a week with an international company. Without his job, we could not even afford our small condo. But again, we live in Miami now and I know that I can’t have the luxury of space we had in TN.

Great video! I have trouble with the kids toys and books. I know they have too much but I don't know what to get rid of! I have grown a lot in the area of being content with what I have and not desiring more things or more money, especially if it would lead me away from the Lord. I put a sign up in my living room so I see it everyday to remind me of this. It says "gratitude turns what we have into enough."

Hi Alana, I was trying to find your private message to message you but couldn't ANYWAY I had to stop, ur 3rd point made me cry so much (the ugly type of cry that is) I am actually going Part Time at work from 24/07 (do u remember me? 😂 I was the one who used to message you about going back to work but I didn't want to, however it's what my husband asked me if I could do - 3 yrs later) well anyway, as of 24/7 I'm going part time so that I could focus on my children more and like you said ENJOY them. I have to admit since working full time the money has been soo good! I buy what I can when I want it, all that stuff, going part time means we'll be living on less then we are now. A part of me wanted to God to CONFIRM that this is his will for me and when you were talking I just couldn't help but cry soo much because that is God confirming with me that that's where he wants me to be - this makes me feel so secure and I just can't help but feel thankful, grateful and praise God for just everything. I am also reminded today WHY I subscribed to u many years back...... Alana THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU, for a Loving and obeying God, for this ministry thru RU-vid. I am so grateful and appreciate your channel. I want a wife like you...Good luck with that as a young guy in this feminist generation I guess :( Sometimes your videos make my heart hurt in my chest. Call me unbelieving but this is all so far removed from the rest of the world. Seems impossible. Women just aren't women anymore. And if you get married and trust a woman you get stabbed in the back and robbed of your finances and children. I may just 21 but I don't know if I can ever marry...hurts real bad. Sorry for this depressing comment that doesn't have much to do with the video. I've been checking a few of your videos and others like the peacefulwife. Some of them make me cry. I thought women like this ceased to exist especially younger women. I never know what to do with these feelings...
TheLoneDragon1 Pray pray pray!! There are women out there. I remember thinking exactly the same thing when I was younger. I thought no one would love me and love the Lord and here I am 13 years later with the one my heart loves. Before I was married my husband didn't attend Church, smoked and had other 'ungodly' habits but the Lord changed him and he is a strong leader in our home. We have 8 children (5 of them daughters) and we, will raise our daughters to be young ladies and those who prayerfully will be non feminists themselves. I cannot express enough to pray and don't give up. Stay strong

Thank you for the encouragement! First of sorry if my name seems odd for a Christian. It's from a game and I made this account when I was 14. I know Dragon can mean Satan. Secondly, I have starting praying. I was never very good at it though. I am filled with much doubt often. I had one girlfriend who was very feminine and giddy and charming in some aspects but she like most girls still had alot of feminist thoughts. Her mother really pushed for her to try engineering which she hated. She was more artistic and carefree. In some ways I almost wish God could bring her back since I care for her still but it's silly since we really don't have much in common just some massive chemistry. But she was a good girl. But really whenever I talked about being a homemaker or anything like that she loves kids and was great with them but she said she didn't want to just stay at home all day. She said she didn't want to just clean the house or babysit kids all day. That and she really loved having her hair bobbed and cut short. She was very cute and pretty but I still didn't like it because I met her with longer hair and I like long hair on women. Sometimes I wonder if I had been less controlling and didn't have such a strong desire to homestead if things would maybe have worked out and I could have slowly introduced her to channels like this but I think she is too independent for that. She doesn't even like feminism but like most girls it's a slow toxin that crawls into them from society and education. I think if God changed her she would change too much, so as much as I loved her I think I just have to hope for someone else who is similar but enjoys the things I enjoy but who as is willing to be a traditional wife. It makes me very sad though. All I wanted of her was to homestead in a colder state with me with trees, grow her hair out, and be a housewife. Those three things was all I cared for. I can not express how emotionally and deeply people like Alana L or April Cassidy or Lori Alexander affect me. Sometimes I hear what they say or read them and it makes my heart churn in my chest. Everything seems so wrong in the world :( Especially Lori Alexander. She seems crazy. Like she would just follow her husband anywhere. I can't imagine any woman my age even suggesting such an idea. Sorry for the long reply but I could speak on this subject all day since it's something that resonates so deeply with me. I've almost resigned to being single because most young women even Christian ones don't seem worth the investment these days. Too much work for no reward...It's a very crushing and bitter feeling. I envy my forefathers and the wives they had.
TheLoneDragon1 Hey there. I was moved reading your comments and just wanted to send some encouragement. Continue to pray for your future wife, but also become a complete person in Christ. Allow Him to work in you to become what He would want for you to be for your future wife. Find your contentment in Him, focusing on your relationship with Him and searching out His will for your life. "Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you." I Peter 5:7. James from James & Lea d RU-vid channel has some great videos and he may have one that speaks to you.
