Hey guys!! Here is the rest of my eyeshadow palette collection and the second part of the declutter! I don't feel like I got rid of as much in this one but maybe it was just stacked with some of my faves! Hope you enjoy!!

I really love you process of decluttering. I feel like a lot of people get bogged down in the "get rid of as much as possible" mindset, which isn't realistic for regular makeup consumers who don't constantly have new product coming in

Ok. Maybe I’m crazy. But the Nyx modern dreamer palette looks more like a Tetris palette than the actual Tetris palette they just came out with.

Someone else made a good point about those Alter Ego palettes and why they kept both the ND ones and the dupes. If they wanted to take one of the ND when they were traveling, they could instead take the dupe with them and that way if it got broken, it wouldn't be that be of a loss financially. I always thought that made a lot of sense.

I used to fly so much for work and I would wrap my pricier eye palettes in bubble wrap and keep them in my carryon (and my Pat McGrath still broke). 😂 At least I’m not dealing with that hassle any more.

I’d love to see a video of you using a palette that you usually use in a certain season or feel inspired by it for a certain season. Ex. You mentioned the Van Gogh palette and small Nyx palette inspire you for fall looks. But would love to see you trying it for a spring or summer look.

Have you ever considered spraying palettes with art fixing spray and putting them in a black shadow box picture frame and hanging them on the wall? Because some color stories are so beautiful but I don’t use them so I thought that would be interesting.

There is something so satisfying about videos like these. I don’t really care whether or not you get rid of things I just like looking at collections and understanding why people choose to keep or get rid of palettes Ohhh I just got to the smoke sessions palette! I did not expect you to declutter that one. Lol I want that palette so bad! But I’m second guessing since you weren’t such a fan of the formula

I feel like the new Kaleidos Flower Punk palette is a similar story, just plus mauves. I’ve heard the Kaleidos formula is pretty bomb & consistent as well.

i felt so bad for shroud and beautbean with that collab palette. i don’t think they anticipated such a huge demand but because it got posted on trendmood i think it got shown to an audience waaaay bigger than betty jean had at the time and the colour story she curated was so unique that so many people wanted it. shroud being a one person operation just couldn’t keep up and i think she definitely learned her lesson that the unlimited preorder they did at the beginning was a bad idea. that being said, i am a genuine viewer and a fan of betty jean and bought the palette during the preorder, received it within the last couple months and even with how excited i was and how much hype there was, it totally lived up to my expectations. it is such a beautiful palette. i love the quality of the shadows, i love the colour story betty jean curated and it makes me very excited to try more shroud palettes in the future. i think they’re doing a great job at being very transparent with everyone waiting on their order and customer service is excellent, especially considering she is a one woman operation. happy customer right here!

I agree. I just got mine this week. I had thought about cancelling my order because it had taken so long and I just didn’t care about it anymore.... boy am I glad I didn’t!!!! I have a good amount of eyeshadows and this palette gives me no repeats and it’s beautiful! I like it so much I am planning on buying another palette from shroud when they re open!

Would you consider making a video of your single shadows that's just you arranging them into a rainbow now that you have even more, and step back enough to show the whole thing at once in the end? I know it might be super tedious so I totes understand if that wouldn't float your boat, I just feel like it'd be so relaxing and wonderful to watch! Plus you have the best dang personality so your commentary feels so like... authentic and nice and interesting!

I don't often find myself wishing I lived in the USA (I'm European), but hearing you say you got the Sugarpill palette on a deal got me... I've wanted that palette so bad ever since they came out with it, but they don't sell the Capsule Palettes in Europe for some reason. So sad. But then you had to go and get a discount on top. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I don't know where you live, but The Makeup Spot (Dutch company) sells Sugarpill, they have the capsule palettes, the small square pastel palette is sold out but they do carry the brand and ship to other countries 😊

This video finally made me realize why I prefer some shimmers/metallics to others. It the texture! Comparing the violet Voss swatches I absolutely loved that bronze shade because of the texture. The other was just kinda eh. I feel like I genuinely learn something when I watch this channel, which feels rare nowadays haha

Yessss more eyeshadow! I think the reason I like these declutters so much is because I don't own a lot of makeup (I feel guilty spending my money and not using the thing often, I literally have three eyeshadow palettes, and two of them are quads) but I do want the feeling of "cleaning through" what I do and do not use. It's second hand satisfaction I guess 😂

Love the declutters. I try to look at my shadows the same way. When there are palettes that I just never use I hate to think that they are just going to waste. So I also try to pass those ones on to hopefully find a new home where it will be used.

Another RU-vidr says the shimmers are as good as Pat McGrath. I don't actually like the Pat McGrath ones as much as that KVD Edge of Reality palette.

I feel the same way about the alter ego goddess palette! I love it! And I have wanted the ND Gold palette for over a year... my sister got it for me this month! It’s WONDERFUL! But I still can’t get rid of my Alter ego palette! It’s got a different more chunky shimmer that I crave at times (even though the ND is delicious)! And when we travel again I will travel with that and keep my ND at home.

I have all my melt shades depotted and put into one giant palette and it’s literally one of my favorite things (and yes their palettes are magnetic) :) I looooove their new cream blushes!!! They’re really thin and slick and beginner friendly IMO

Speaking of the ND Circo Loco palette... I own it & love to pair it w/the mini tropic & mini gold palettes. I want the mini love but haven't gotten around to purchasing it yet, but I will eventually. The circo Loco is the 1st big ND palette I own (I've only ever bought the minis bc I could justify $25 but not $65 or $129 on color stories I didn't Love, but bc the circo Loco palette is so much more colorful then any of her other larger palettes, I was OK w/paying full price; ie $129. Hope she keeps releasing more all colorful palettes bc I'll keep buying them.)

Lookfantastic has sales on ND palettes a few times a year. If you want the Gold palette, check on their website for sales. That's how I bought all of my ND palettes. I just ordered Sunrise and Circo Loco for 20% off.

I just got the Impressionism palette from Mussee Beauty and not only is the palette in every way so gorgeous...the presentation of how it came packaged, etc was like nothing else and so special!! I just ordered the Van Gogh when it came back in stock and only didn’t get the Rococo because there are so so many gorgeous things coming out and it looks similar enough to the Impressionism to pass at the moment and wait. Great indie brand...like Kaleidos and many others!!

The Melt palettes are all magnetic, except the Beetlejuice ones. I've rearranged all of mine, swapping pans in and out. If you use a magnet, the pans pop right out.

I do this sometimes too but more with clothes, but Lauren you "Gatsby's Green Light" yourself all the time!!!! Like build it up and then you get it and it's meh but your imagination is just so good so you sell the products- you should be their marketer honestly. You've got me hella intrigued in Kaleidos or Cliondah, I'm considering buying from them around July or August once we move
