Hey guys!! I wanted to go through my collection and just clean out any of the items I think I can pass on and give a new home! It was meant to be a quick one video thing... haha but I talk to much! Friendly PSA: if you open a jar, like Lauren did with the "unopened, untouched" ABH pomade, then that product is open, regardless if you did not use it. It has had the seal open, had contact with air, and the clock is ticking for that product. Preservatives last so long as it's in the sterile environment of the lab. There's a difference between expiration date and date after first use (the icon with the open lid jar). Once open, the product starts to degrade. So, just because you don't use it, if you open it, consider that product openned and expiring.

ok hear me out - keep the Becca blush/face palettes for science! For example, one of the blushes in the Khole x Malika palette is one of my all time faves, and I will be so sad when i've gone through it. But if you keep yours, and you find another blush like it, can you tell us! See? so you have to keep them now ;-)

@@CrystalLynnBeauty Pay attention to your retention on your current videos. If your audience stays with you for longer videos than yes. Generally, I don't watch long videos unless it's a genre that needs time, such as a commentary video that's well researched or a declutter like this. If you've got a story or topic you can keep people's attention with for an hour long video, do it! I would say, if you have 2 hours of conversation on something, break it into smaller parts. 2 hours is a lot for any topic to stay insteresting.

I don’t remember who recommended this, but I saw someone say in a video that they put the clear soap brow product on their brows first and then follow with a tinted product (pencil, pen, powder, etc) once the brows are set and that way you don’t spooly away the pigment when you add the wax. I’ve been doing it that way and I love how my brows look when I do it.

@@KourttneyL I don’t use soap bc it leaves little white residue on my brows. I use the anastasia brow freeze, it’s clear and works amazing. Then I follow up with the nyx lift and snatch and it’s a 🥰 combo.

I hate setting my under eye concealer, too! But to prevent transfer, I take a small eyeshadow brush and swipe powder just under my lower eyelashes, only as far down as my lashes. Works like a charm.

The trick with the Patrick Ta brow wax is to use it first, and then push it down with the side if the brush, and then follow it up with your eyebrow pencil and put the colour in then. That way you don't lose any of the colour when you're applying it. Also, I almost cried when you got rid of the Glowdiant palette. It's so fantastic!😢😢❤❤

Put some clear brow gel on your bottom lashes after mascara to stop transfer! I have super long lower lashes and I do it every day! Works amazing :)

I went through this, this time last year. Moved continents, so had to REALLY reduce my collection. I now have a small, well used collection that I love. Can't wait to see yours, so satisfying 🥰

That Touch in Sol palette has the rose gold I've been looking for, and if I pick it up with an eyeshadow brush vertically I can get just that color for an eyeshadow. And I do like it blended across the colors on the lighter side for a highlighter. If I ever use my gradual face self tanner I'll use the darker side. I didn't think I'd like it at all but it's a favorite. That Kosas face oil in 3.5 is a unicorn for me. It is just the right color and it feels like it's impossible to get the right color foundation without mixing shades, which I don't mind but it's not always convenient. Brands seem to like to make a very pale neutral and a medium neutral, but expect that everyone light is yellow or pink. I have that problem with the Ordinary serum foundation, but they're inexpensive and worth mixing for me.

My mascara started transferring too and someone on the internet told me about tubing mascaras, so I tried it.. it’s a gamechanger! No transfer even though I have oily eyelids, I love it! Maybe you could try it too ☺️

Makeup is so therapeutic to me! Every aspect of it XoxoX my room is in the process of a makeover and I got myself a nice vanity mirror and I’m in the process of organizing/decluttering my makeup!!!

I use and love the Lash Princess mascara from Essence. It really gives me huge lashes. The way I deal with transferring is to coat it with Estee Lauder Little Black Primer as a final step. That seals it all on so there's no transfer or flaking.

for primer you should try the stila one step correct! it is my favorite primer ever- it is SO hydrating and makes my skin feel super smooth once it sinks in. the smoothness combined with the gentle color correction aspect makes a perfect base (I even put it on for days I'm wearing no makeup because it makes my skin look so healthy!). Normally I switch between primers but since I discovered that one I've used an entire one up and I'm onto my second bottle!!

One of the reasons I love you, is that you are not one of the influencers who put a lot of layers of makeup on, then blame it on the concealers/foundations and say the product creases, so they intimate that people should not buy them! Thanks for staying real! 💗

I had to declutter my kosas Bronzer a few days ago it smelled so rancid now it did have a scent to it when I first purchased in overtime the scent that just became unbearable, Very short shelflife for that bronzer

I don’t have money to chuck out the window. Nor do I want to be replacing/buying all new products every 6 mths or even a year.

I’m having mascara transfer problems too! I set my under eye and it doesn’t seem to help at all. I got the clear mascara from elf and apply it after my regular mascara and that is the only thing that has made a noticeable difference.

I like the formula of that Sigma eye primer stick, but it’s so yellow that it actually changes the color of eyeshadows.

I had similar problems with it, I am tempted to try the waterproof version though since I started using waterproof mascaras anyways as they hold a curl better and getting them off is not an issue for me anymore as I started double cleansing.

Fam, what’s the deal with expired make up? Like I’m pretty good with changing the mascara every 6 months because I value my eyesight but what about concealers and foundations? Any issues with using after expiration date?

I'm pretty sure they are, I know she's used the five pan (the 48 one, not the mini palettes) as "travel" palettes and used shades from the bigger palettes. She has a video talking about it.
