Just wanted to say your Black Friday video helped me go into my collection of things (makeup, electronics components, books, sewing, etc) and enjoy them today and reorganize them instead of just mindlessly buying new things. I picked up gifts for other people and some Christmas decor to make the holiday a bit brighter since social distancing with my bf from our families. My bf saw me reorganizing and enjoying my stuff and he went and did the same with his office. It was a lovely day and I’m glad I didn’t spend it on Sephora. I really appreciate the ideas you bring to the RU-vid space and look forward to seeing more from your channel

I have been using Maybelline’s Raw Chocolate and Almond Rose bullet lip color as cream bronzer and blush. I love them so much more on my cheeks rather than my lips that I will most likely pan them. Thank you for the frequent videos. They go a long way toward alleviating my Covid anxiety. 💕💕

The Kaleidoscope nail polish is gorgeous. Your nails look amazing!💖 I have exactly one cream cheek product and it's my Kjaer Weis blush in the shade Suntouched. I love it. The product, the colour and packaging is beautiful. It's so elegant. I value what feels like its uniqueness in my collection, not only for obvious reasons but because I know it will not last nearly as long as my powder products and that it turn makes it feel more precious when I hold it and use it. It also cost more than I would usually pay for any cheek product but the fact that I can enjoy the process of refilling in the future, perhaps continuing to refill it many times, makes it feel again more valuable in my collection. Like a permanent piece as such. Something I can think on, make new choices with regards to it, etc. On a side note, it has also forced me to become less hung up on my need to make everything fingerprint free! That's a losing battle with this packaging and it just feels so nice in the hand. Open, close, open, close...😍

If I organised my blushes and highlighters like that I would never use the ones on the bottom lol I have to keep them stood up in different compartments so I can see them all a la marie kondo method. It was nice to see you reckon with these, I love how passionate you are about all of them 😊 Makes me want to go back and retry some of mine I don't use often P.s. just got the prophecy highlighter from kaleidos and it's beautiful, it's the only thing I want to use right now!

I know you're not really in the market for more cream blushes lol but based on what you're claiming to love, I think you'd love the Tower 28 cream blushes. They have that lipsticky quality that you're talking about, and when I bought them I was pleasantly surprised to see how pigmented they are. Maybe an option to try when you pan that elf palette.

Thank you for this visual and cerebral feast 💞 I'm not of the opinion that the numbers matter in any truly meaningful way, but I believe you decluttered nearly a quarter of your collection, which is a pretty solid percentage in my book! Despite being super relaxing, there's also an edge-of-your-seat sports-like quality to discovering the fates of each of these beautiful things 😅 I love it tbh. And your nails look SO PRETTY. GREAT aesthetic choices here! I get irritable when my nails grow past the tips of my fingers though, so I much as I would love to rock them, I don't think I could manage nails this long either.

Thank you for talking about what you would own if you weren't a RU-vidr and showing the comparison. Although I am very aware that most makeup shown on RU-vid is sent in PR, it's good to have a reminder of this sometimes - it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of makeup people own and feel like I NEED to own more makeup to keep up. A lovely classic HLP declutter. Thinking about what constitutes a ‘normal’ collection for a consumer. I select my blush to match my lipstick tone. I have a cool red, an orange, a coral that’s good with warm reds, a nude, a rose, and a berry. I then have a couple of small pans of pink in travel friendly face palettes and a reminding myself that I don’t need a stand-alone pink right now! Much as I want a single pink, this also still feels like a lot of blush.

Hey Hannah, I've found that the Daniel Sandler's blush formula varies A LOT between shades! I've gathered a few samples through his british website, and I've found out that some colors barely resembles each other in formula

That’s interesting- I probably would also prefer the thicker cream blushes if I didn’t wear foundation and powder but since I do I am loathe to apply the thick ones in fear they will remove the makeup underneath. Man, the EM cosmetics drops were a huge pet down for me. I chose a fairly light pink, and when I apply it it looks like clown cheeks but as soon as start to buff it , it disappears! I did 3 layers , had the same result with sticky cheeks, and through “I don’t have time for this!” But my favourite cream cheek is probably an in-between of the slick sheer ones and the lipstick like ones, it’s the new formula by MAC. Glow play or something ? I love the packaging and the colour. It’s thick but not so thick I’m scared I will disturb my makeup underneath.

I played with all my makeup, and took apart some products and made my own eyeshadows out of other palettes on Wednesday. It ended up being the only Black Friday where I didn’t buy any makeup in probably 3 years. I did order clothes but I’ve got two kids and they’re both growing like weeds, the Black Friday sales always help me stock up on staple items in new sizes like pants and thermals (now that I’m in Ontario that was a new neeeed hahaha). Anyway, I love your videos so much. 💕

Interjecting while watching… Hannah, went digging through your archive, to see if I could find more leads on cheek color, and realize you probably would have enjoyed one of my vintage HG products: fresh blush in ivory dust. It would probably be a subtle highlighter on medium skin tones, but for folks like you and I, it’s a lovely muted blush. I’ve got some pics over on imgur, if you’re curious. I’m on the look out for a modern dupe of it, but nothing yet!

i’ve always found it weird that you are allowed to return an open/used makeup product. as you can guess, you are not allowed to do so in europe. would you be willing to make a video were you mix some of your liquid blushes and highlighters (just a swatch’s worth) to make some new products and see how they mix?

I felt the Physicians Formula liquid blush was truly tragic in its packaging. I’m not picky about messy make up at all, however that slick formula with the pump rendered it useless because I would get so tired of all the cleanup it required. Gorgeous finish. I wish they’d change the packaging to a tube.
