Keep the craft desk as it is. It will only continue to get paint over it. And as time goes by it will look like an artist’s desk!

I completely agree, if you accidentally get paint on that desk, it's not gonna bother you as much as getting a new one.

I don't think you should move the round mirror. With the gold lamp in the one corner of the table and the placement of the art frame, the mirror actually looks really good where it's at. I also think you should keep the one table for your DIY desk. Any other desk you get will just end up the same way.

Why not a pull out sofa bed instead of a full double? That way it will be an office when you don't have guests.

Just keep the desk and don’t worry about it. All the smudges give it character and remind you of all the cool projects you made. And of course life isn’t perfect if you’re human you know that!! The room looks fabulous thanks for sharing!!

The room looks great and I defo think you should keep the craft table - how about recovering it with fablon (they do a lovely marble grey) or cath kidston style oilcloth xxx

I like how your vacuum has a face, It's super cute. Its nice your so honest with the mess in your house and how much of your crafting supplies, take up so much space. I've had a closet take me 4 hours just to clean it out, so I believe you when you said it takes you 3 days to clean up a whole room. Keep up the great work.

I’m so excited for the series of decluttering and organizational videos! I found your channel just a short time ago right before Christmas. I binged watched all of you’re house renovation! You are the most inspiring RU-vidr I’ve found that really gets me motivated into decluttering and organizing. Thank you for all the real ness you share about what things really look like before and that it takes you several days to do it. I like what you said about not caring if it’s perfect because it never will be since life isn’t perfect. I am currently decluttering and organizing a spare room in my cottage while I’m chronically ill and it’s so hard to find something that motivates me. But your videos help me so much! 🥰🥰keep up the great work! 🌻🌻

I wouldn''t discard the desk, but refinish it, and if you are lacking time for that, I would decorate it with a table runner made of pretty fabric for when guests come. When you dyi you can always set it aside in a drawer or cabinet.

Hi Hermione, I think you are an AMAZING & INSPIRATIONAL young lady! In the real world things aren't always perfect, so I think 3 days to declutter a room gives people with busy lives more motivation to achieve the same results! Keep the awesome videos coming.

Great job, I have my craft room that I started to declutter and got about 60 percent done then had other things that needed finishing, so now I need to complete it. You have inspired me to jump in and tackle and finally complete it. I like your craft table, I would keep it especially if you need a place to paint or glue. Thanks and see you in the next video!

Oh my god, you just saved my life with the guest bed/pillow/shelving/hanging thingy setup. I have an office/guestroom combo that us set up very similar but I never knew what to do with the 2 walls around the guest bed. Now I finally have something that is worth to work towards :) Can't wait to see what you're going to do with the little shelf! Thank you so much, this looks awesome

Love this! I gave my office a tidy the weekend too. Next on my list is my hot press/linen press. It is so stuffed. I have an awful habit of just stuffing things into drawers and closing the door lol x

Yep, de-cluttering and organizing a room definitely takes a few days to do. No way you are going to do it in a day as you have other responsibilities to attend to. So I am so glad that you are keeping it real in this video, as doing it bit by bit everyday takes the overwhelming feeling away. Thanks for the video.

Another wonderful video! Consider moving the small wall shelf (now over the side of the bed) over the work table area. Do keep the work table - maybe add a small rolling Ikea drawer or shelf unit under the work table to hold more of your DIY tools! Maybe hang a gallery wall of pretty pink art over the bed! Can't wait to see more videos in your home - and more organizing and decorating ideas for the coming months! Thanks for all of your hard work putting this channel together!

I would keep the desk, and cover it in peel and stick vinyl or some such, like you can get to cover kitchen cupboards, or worktop laminate stuff (that tough plastic veneer that goes over chipboard and makes it look like marble or granite maybe?) All the best with your projects in the new year x

I would keep the table. You can repaint it, you can put contact paper (shelf paper) over it, or you can put a tablecloth over it so that it looks neat and tidy for any guests that may come. I would paint the walls, maybe something like very large stripes with two or three different colors horizontally or vertically. Happy New Year!

I have 2 rooms that are piled high with clutter! Your video has given me the inspiration to declutter my rooms. The pink table is ideal for crafts. Why don’t you buy some marble contact paper. It will transform your table and you can spend what you saved, on a new shelf. Thanks for inspiring me x

You know I was clearing out some bins, I had one that was filled with grocery bags and the spoon rest for my stove. Yea, that all went to the trash and the bin was put in a storage box. Cleaner looking cupboard!!

Great transformation in this space, in your whole house, great job! You should keep the desk and just repaint. It's a great size. All your crafty things are put away in the cabinets so it looks very nice and neat. I would be happy to stay in this room as a guest!

You can add plain or patterned contact paper to the desk or a large thin cardboard to cover it. It will be easier to clean and most come in a matte finish which is nice for filming (no glare). You can even have a few made that you can recycle if they get dirty/damaged :)
