Med diet is VERY DIFFERENT that indian diet in the way we cook the food and the vegetables. It has more salads, olive oil (instead of sunflower oil) , less carbs (roti rice etc). In fact, one of the islands of Greece, the life expectancy is very high due to the Mediterranean diet
Very informative. Explanations were easy to understand and this talk is very useful. It helps one understand the body functions so we can make better choices. Thank you
Really love the clarity in explaining the basic terminologies. I think when I used to listen to other podcasts I often found myself researching a lot of things on my own, and albeit that did make me into more of an active participant, this works well too. Keep em coming 👍🏼

I am primarily a vegetarian person. I drink 220 gms of milk 2-3 times a week. My weight machine shows that Muscle is on excellent level and protein is on a healthy level. It amazes me that people rely solely upon meat for protein intake.
That's impressive! 🌱💪 a well-balanced vegetarian diet can provide excellent muscle and protein levels but its generally a tougher process. Keep rocking your vegetarian diet! 🥦🥛
Vegan is not a diet it’s a lifestyle. Plant based is the diet there’s a huge difference between the two for example : you can be on plant based diet and wear animal leather where else when you’re vegan you don’t even wear anything derived from very well. On the other hand very well planned plant based diet can fulfil all the nutrients in the worst case you can supplement b12 once a week or even include some nutritional yeast in your diet which will give b12. Omega 3 can be achieved through seeds like flaxseed or algae based supplement just like non vegetarian taking fish oil. I have been vegan and thriving on the plant based diet from the last two years and I hardly supplement myself from b12 or protein. B12 only if I need or I just take like one multivitamin that contains b12 once a week that’s it … Protein is easy to get but more importantly being vegan is having strong mindset it’s a long term game if you don’t do for the animals better don’t follow it cuz of trend or influencers because if you have strong mindset on going vegan for the animals and at the same time eating right than there is never going back and you will always regret like me for doing it earlier( my gut improved, immunity improved and also being asthmatic I don’t get much wheezing problem cuz I ditched dairy )
Tell me your B12 levels in 5 years time.... You can be vegan all you want but please do not promote stuff you do not understand. Yes, vegans need supplements...
Your experience showcases that a well-planned diet can provide all the necessary nutrients, and supplementation, if needed, is manageable. The connection between a strong mindset, ethical commitment, and a well-balanced diet is crucial for a vegan lifestyle. ❤️❤️
Traditionally we always having fasting once a week plus Ekadashi once in every 15 days…..breakfast was traditionally never included in our daily routine…..it’s so much a western concept…..
Giving B12 supplements to a person with dementia should be done under the guidance of a healthcare provider. We recommend going to a doctor as they can recommend an appropriate course of action.
