Christmas is my favorite time of year...usually. This year, I am utterly depressed as my beloved dog Leila is nearing the end of our journey together. The thought of losing her just shatters me. That room color is so warm and your tree looks fabulous! I absolutely love egg nog, I get so excited when it starts coming out in the stores. I use the same trick of putting lights on the inside of the tree as well as on the outer edge of the branches. My favorite is a dark blue light on the inside and multi color on the outside. I also use white on the inside sometimes and yellow ones on the inside are fun as well! Whatever color you want to emphasize. You can also vary the size of the lights! White mini lights on the inside with large multi C9 bulbs or bubble lights on the tips is such fun, too. Edited for spelling.

I like your milk chocolate wall color. In 1973 I painted my bedroom walls in dark chocolate trimmed in chalk white! In 50 years, you will look back at all the phases you lived through. Be sure to document everything. You will be happy you did in time to come.

Love Sophie in the season… outdoors in the dusting of snow and perched on her chair of choice!
