What makes Garbage one of the best bands coming out of the 90S Is all the songs seem to be played to highlight Shirley's vocals.. Every song she has a real sexy and sultry sound when she sings. No one could but her could sing these songs

The sound of the 90s... No BIG singer, but such a character. Love their Music. Btw... star producer Butch Vig who has produced numerous Foo Fighters albums, is the drummer. Saw them live a few years back, but without him since he was working With other Projects.
It's no wonder we love Garbage in France, Shirley's lyrics are almost on par with Baudelaire in the way she speaks about sexuality, desire, loneliness and even kink. Garbage is one of my favorite bands in terms of presence, music mastery and delivery. And of course I'm NOT AT ALL in love with her :)

Let's be honest -- if it's a Garbage song and it sounds like it's about being unhealthily obsessed with someone, it probably is. It's their thing. Try doing "Vow" -- it's one of the most utterly batshit breakup songs I have ever heard in my life.

Hi India, good choice and reaction. A couple of points: 1) I much prefer the Siren mix of this track. Fuller richer sound and more sensual. You should listen to it. 2) Try "Stupid Girl" by Garbage. A jem of a song.

No it wasn’t. Their Bond song is The World is not Enough. Milk was the last song on their debut album which was released several years before The World is Not Enough

They have songs about hope, songs about fighting the man, songs about being true to yourself, love songs, and more. Yes they have songs about not feeling good enough and being hurt and about being sad. But it’s unfair to say that they are “almost always” about depression
She is aiso manipulative. This woman feels like, the only way for her to have a better life, is to use her body & beauty to get there. That would certainly harden someone's soul a little. And the interesting thing, is, this subject matter is wrapped around with some really beautiful music. Wicked! 3:)
