No, didn't have to. This Bronco had far more capability than we threw at it.

I agree with you he lost me when he said it was more capable I thought I was going to maybe follow but it doesn’t seem fair and I’ve watched a lot of bronco videos and know one has said anything like that

@@christopherbrown1391 Ive seen other "reviewers" say the Bronco is "better," maybe because they believe the Ford advertising hype, look at the Bronco's specs -- which ARE often "better" than a Wranglers (but only by a little) -- or are just excited by the latest, new ("hot") vehicle out now and looking at it through rose-colored-glasses. Who knows... But again, that's on paper and as I said in the REAL world off-trail (and on the hwy), they'd both be about equal so either one would be a good choice performance-wise. Now re: availability & price -- the Bronco would be LESS available and even costs more when it IS available (on dealer lots or finally shipped to the people who ordered theirs a year ago), as even some dealers are marking them up (price-gouging "market adjustment" BS) big-time -- IF you can even find/get a Bronco on a dealer's lot.. So since performance/capability will be real-world same -- IMO -- and you can get a Jeep a lot easier than you can a Bronco, some people will just go with a Jeep on those reasons alone. Other will wait however long it takes for their Broncos to arrive. Me, I got a Jeep Gladiator (Rubicon) because I needed more towing-capacity than EITHER the Bronco or Wrangler had. So for me, neither one of them would have worked: I needed a mid-size TRUCK, not a mid-size SUV, so nothing against Wranglers (or Broncos) in general. I'm quite pleased with my Gladiator...and because it's my Daily Driver as well, it has to do EVERYTHING I need it to (and GOT it for) -- it does. ;-) ETA: One OTHER thing: Saw a RU-vid video of a guy out on a trail with his new Bronco, but his GOAT mode went out. He had NO 4WD whatsoever, only 2WD, so he still was able to get back home. As we know, a Bronco's 4WD is electronically-selected (dial), whereas in a Jeep there's a separate transfer case with a shift lever you physically/mechanically use to go into 4H and 4L -- nothing electric about it to fail. Yes, the Jeep's (Wranglers/Gladiators - Rubicons) front/rear LOCKERS and detachable sway (stabilizer) bar are electronically activated on the Jeep, but not the 4WD -- it's mechanical (as it's been for DECADES) so it will ALWAYS work, even IF the front/rear lockers & sway-bar (electronic) features fail. I'm not arguing for one over the other, just saying I prefer a Jeep (for several reasons, not just those mentioned here). But LOTS of people are/will be getting Broncos...and will get the Bronco Raptor when it comes out (2022?)...good for them, but I'll stay with Jeep. -- BR

I wouldn't call it a "wannabe".. it's certainly setting a new bar for this segment. The cameras definitely work in a garage and are very useful when pulling into a tight spot, garage, or parking space.

This is highly disingenuous. Most dealers are asking over MSRP for Bronco.. many by tens of thousands of dollars.
