Roger's bass tone is so killer heavy it could buckle you at the knees. Love it! The funniest thing about this show is it appeared it was school field-trip day for a bunch of kids (right side of stage by Ritchie) LOL

To be fair, they couldn't really pull up the lyrics to the song back then. Plus they're white English boys so it probably wasn't very easy for them to understand African American vernacular

donkey butt When a band the caliber of Deep Purple covers a song it is a compliment. You could have listened to the original but you listened to the cover. And I always liked LR but a perfectionist he wasn't and that is Rock and Roll wild and LR was in his day.
