Update for those of you seeing this video a month or 2 after its release, I am not dead. I am currently studying and will graduate this summer before going back to making videos full time. One thing is clear though, I will never quit making videos. your support has been absolutely incredible. I hope you can find the patience to wait for the next upload (which is being worked on). Fun fact: if you go to navigation and pick a "mission" you can actually go into the drop pod (previously shut) and play a really cool mini game where you go down to a cave and shoot bugs while completing objectives. Really with people knew more about the side content rather than the main space station which gets boring after a little while.

You forgot the other best part. The experienced players (gray beards as they are known) are fantastic people. And once you become a grey beard yourself, you will find yourself being a beacon of inspiration to newer players (known as green beards). Early on, I had grey beards giving me tips and teaching me stuff I would have never known and giving me all kinds of advice. People are super polite, funny, and honestly it's rare to find toxic players. The game is always best enjoyed with the bois. Because madness is always sure to ensue. There is also mod support (for steam anyways) if you so fancy adding some ha ha funny noise to it.

consoled DRG player here! and I wish that DRG had cross platforms because the Xbox community is non existent here. there are some gray beards but I've only managed to talk to a few players (one being a bit toxic )😅

@@nolives same. I recently had a toxic engie try to block off the drop pod with platforms. Bruh. I main driller and another player was a driller. The other player drilled us in as I placed C4 at the entrance of the drop pod. The engie kept trying to be dumb so I blew his arse up. We left his sorry arse.

The mods vary from "guns in hub so you can test them for enjoyment", "turn gold into a lightsource" to "all weapons and paints in the game turned into a paint you can equip on all weapons" All the way to "mission status: based", "macterras have the cloaker noise payday2", "molly makes the squidward walking sound" and "detonators shit themselves when exploding". Really interesting stuff. I personally run all of these exept the gold one, cause the literal tagline is "danger, DARKNESS, dwarves", and Im not gonna cheat. If you wanted x-ray ores, go play minecraft instead.

When they found out somebody was pirating their game, they said "Hey man, that's an old, buggy beta, here's the files for the fixed version." When the pirate asked why they were helping him, they told him that they didn't care about money, as Hotline Miami was just a passion project two guys wanted to make. They said money would be appreciated, but their #1 priority was to make people happy. The pirate felt bad and bought the game honestly just to support the devs.

Yo your editing is amazing! I love the quick cuts. I love this game to death. And you picked a good season to jump in. I love that you mentioned the ritual of Rock n Stone. Deep Rock's decision to have previous content be added to loot crates in the game is such a brilliant choice that makes you want to play more just to get new weapon and pickaxe skins. Not to mention the mods add a lot of fun customization to your class builds. Especially the nuke mod for the grenade launcher.
