Tsend-Ayush is the director of the "Felt Knots" cooperative and owner of the popular Tsaagan Alt felt shop in Ulaanbaatar, selling all things felt, from slippers, to hats and jackets. After the tax reform in 2007, passed with support from the USAID's Economic Policy Reform and Competitiveness project, Tsend-Ayush took a loan to expand her business.
