There were such incidents which happened that year which he also discussed in his book which reminded me of my child days. Hope on day will meet him in person. Sport is a form of meditation in the sense that you are absolutely in the present moment trying to win a point. All other thoughts disappear.

The good thing about US Universities is that they allow you to choose diverse subjects like Enginnering plus Humanities. We could have this in India as well if colleges co-operate. So many souls are being crushed in Indian colleges because they never had the opportunity to explore.

Dear chetan sir, thanks for interviewing amit sir. You asked him questions on issues which youngsters of india generally have. Depression, anxiety and addiction to social media has become very common. I also suffer extreme depression due to failures in exams. This much I can say tell dat solution of depression is not in external or instant gratification. One should be peace with his own self. Being a bihari i appreciate his genuine love for my home state bihar. He nabbed the famous criminal when he was SP of my home district sheikhpura. He has worked in both undivided bihar n bihar after division. ( division of Bihar pained bihari people a lott). He has lived in bihar more dan me. He calls bihar his Karmbhumi n accepted bihar with its good n bad. I realised after reading his book dat around 99 when I used to live in lavish diaptoli cantt ranchi . My papa ji being GE ranchi ( MES). sir was posted in bero near ranchi with no facilites. After reading his both books I admire Amit sir wife Mrs. Tanu lodha more who has been his pillar of strength . 🙏

Best thing I liked, was that Amit sir got fail in 7th & MA101 but then he took Maths only for his UPSC subject , nailed it, Became country topper in that Exam.....its awe inspiring ( by the way I am Mohit , aap dono ka Junior from IIT Delhi (2008 Batch :-)....... Have just watched two episodes and this series has already become my favourite! What touched me in this conversation. For Amit sir- he believes in balanced development, avoids extremism, enjoys life to the fullest and this attitude brings him joy, health and success that too in a very difficult profession like Police service. For Chetan sir- he explains the purpose of motivation i.e someone at somewhere would be watching this and will be convinced one more time to not to give up.
