As someone who has to do deal with lots of lag problems in the past, I've learned a fair amount about what can be done to reduce those problems. Hopefully this can help some other people with similar issues out as well.

I higly recommend create a folder and put the textures there because after deleting the textures you cant recover unless reinstall roblox again

you're right and I agree, it's not that I've lost motivation or anything but it's just that a video I've been working on ended up taking wayyyy too long and screwed with my upload schedule. will for sure start posting more again tonight tho to try to make up for that

dont make your windows smaller, go to display settings and turn down the resolution. This allows for you to still be zoomed so you dont have to squint or something

if you open the properties of the roblox player shortcut and enable high dpi and set it to system in the compatibility tab, it would lower the internal resolution of roblox which gives more fps

As a fellow Mac user, If you aren’t recording a vid use replay buffer feature on OBS, you won’t regret it. I think there might have been some impact on your performance because you had 2 clipping software open in the beginning

it's the same way as removing textures except you don't need to delete the texture folders. Most likely your Mac also can't go past 60 fps either, so be sure to double check that first

you need to have the .json file extension, just copying the text doesn't work. you should try downloading the file instead and putting it in

I find it better to change your screen resolution and then full screen the game its going to be more pixelated but a lot more fps if your gpu is struggling

Free preformance for Windows users: Deadass shutdown all the shit Microsoft uses (Telemetry, Diagonistics, Other bullshit services, Cortana, indexing and updates): Allt his could be done by going into services and disabling them, running a optimized script by some IT nerds (CTT, Crhis Titus Tech), or modify windows by using Windows setup files within a program such as NTLite. Also do end game presence writer within Taskmanager or somehow remove it (If you're not using XBOX recorder)

have to be kinda weird about it because of how laggy things can be. I can’t use OBS most of the time because it drops below 60 fps, so I normally just clip stuff using RetroClip and do voiceover after, since that seems to perform much better

@@high.notes1 my videos aren’t usually too long and most of the time have a lot of editing so it’s been fine. my clipping software goes up to 5 mins which is more than enough most of the time. you’re right tho I should probably look a little further to see if there’s a better performing way of recording, could cause problems if I ever want to make longer vids in the future. I refuse to put sub 60 fps clips in my vids tho

Clipping's always been kind of an issue for me on windows, found that xbox game bar works the best in terms of performance cause its built in if you dont wanna play in windowed, you can change your display resolution and go into fullscreen instead, usually play on 1080x768 or something along the lines of that which works perfectly for me

would’ve if I could’ve, unfortunately bootcamp isn’t available on my Mac since I have a newish one with the apple silicon chips, and you need an intel chip to use bootcamp.

it’s an iMac desktop with one of the newish Apple M1 cpus. even though it’s one of the newer apple models, my PC still struggles pretty hard to run deepwoken sometimes, kind of unfortunate

it's an iMac 2021 M1, specs can be found online but pretty much just a basic desktop Mac, only thing different is that I have 16gb of ram instead of the default 8gb which I'm very grateful for

Hey you can significantly boost your FPS by changing your resolution not sure if MAC can do this windows users can. For example your normal resolution is (1080 x 1920) You can change this by going to windows settings type display resolution and change it to whatever you like I use (1280 x 800) With this im able to get around 140 fps and the game is still playable

This only applies if your gpu is horrid, otherwise it's a single core performance or RAM bottleneck Also if available use nvidia control panel and stretch it instead, cus changing resolution is a bother and nvidia will do it for the game every time without needing to change anything again

was at 30 fps at the start to 60 (max) at the end, so I’d say for a poorly performing PC that’s pretty decent. If you have a PC that can use go past 60 fps would prob be even better

I get 60 fps consistently dw, it’s a lot laggier when I’m recording. Playing less than 60 fps is soo bad, would be much harder to do well in PvP for sure
