Awesome review, Fil, that's how it's done! Great RC truck for the price and as you say, lots of room for improvements and upgrades making it a hobby grade car. Nice touch with the clear spare body shell. Looking forward to see where you go with it! Cheers! 😎👊👍
G'day Fil!, Awesome unboxing, test and review mate👌, it looks like a great buggy and took a nice beating too. I hope you're given more to test and review in future, it's pretty interesting. We hope you're well mate👍🦘🇦🇺
Thanks again for watching, mate! I really enjoyed working with this buggy, so hopefully DEERC liked the footage and sends a few more over for us to play with. Cheers! 🍻
Awesome video! These things are awesome little budget bangers for sure. They handle brushless upgrades pretty well too. All kinds of different versions of this. Love that they give you a spare clear body! Glad to see this on your channel ! All the best to you! Take care-
Ouyeah, Fil, goodtimes, sunshine, old 80'ies nostalgia, that lovely Toyota, yeah man, good fun with a little RC car! Yeah, and I don't like those Fords either, diesel or whatever... Cool little truggy thing, I actually looked at one of these a year ago or so, I wanted the unpainted body for something, can't remember what... Looks like I could have safely got me one, it did really well in your tests... I'm looking forward to seeing what you do to it, especially what retro cool paint job you give it, and of course how many kV of torture it gets, ha ha!
I had seen this car in Januar but I don’t buy it because I had read too much bad comments about this car . When I see how you drive with it in the Skatepark uiuiui Great . I asked me what had the people done with it to write those bad comments. I think for that prize you have to pay for the little basher you get a good car. Nice that you get two Lipo batteries, many parts and two body shells . Cool one of it is clear to paint it in your own design . I think with oil filled shocks the performance will get much better . Great Vid and a good unboxing 👍
Great video mate 👌 I know what you are saying about branching out into other RC brands but for me I've always been a Tamiya man with a little bit of kyosho 😊
Just found your channel and love the content. Wondering if all the cars on your wall are running. Meaning full motor and electronics etc? Asking cause i enjoy the unboxing building and displaying but the electronics so much. Am i wasting my time then ?
Hey, welcome aboard, glad you're enjoying my channel. To answer your question, yes, every car I have in my fleet has full electronics and is ready to run. Just pop in a battery and go. Thanks for watching! 👊🏼
Great video! Thanks. I'm new to the RC world. I bought this new for my son and think water has fried the ESC. You mentioned upgrading motor and ESC can you provide some info?? Thanks again
Thanks for watching! Too bad the electronics are already fried. Cheapest way to go about it would be to replace the receiver/esc that's in the kit with the same unit. Alternatively, you could purchase an esc (ID recommend the Hobbywing 1060), but you'll have to install a new receiver and radio as well. Flysky or Dumbo RC are good radio brands that are inexpensive. The Hobbywing 1060 is waterproof, so you could look at plasti-dipping the receiver and steering servo to help keep water out. 👊🏼
I just got me this one, i second the poor assembly, mine the shocks came with oil, just a few drops in it lol, also one was leaking the cap was loose, same with the wheels but the wing, the brackets have a second set of holes further in to make it firm. I already connected the two batteries in series and ordered tail lights :D Looking to upgrade to brushless in the future and maybe all alloy parts I've seen as they break, where do you get your upgrades, also what size of brushless motor would u recommend? Great video, im fairly new to rc and i was kind of afraid to break it, but now im confident i can abuse it a little bit lol 😂
Thanks for watching and commenting! As for upgrades, I'd probably look into a 2-in-1 brushless motor/esc combo. Just to save space, as the chassis is rather small. This kit is tough, I'll give it that, so you can be confident when you get it out for a rip. 👍🏻🍻
should we add oil to the shocks? what's the difference between brush motor and brushless motor? for the brush motor do we maintenance for brushing it off?
If you're unsure about brushed v.s. brushless motors, do some research on it, there's a lot of videos out there explaining the difference. It'll be better than me yrying to explain here, lol. 👍🏻
@@Infinite-GamerYT-t2o I'm not sure of the bind procedure, and I've since sold my 9206E, so I don't have the manual anymore. But Google the binding procedure and/or manual and I'm sure you'll find it online.
I don't think the stock electronics are built to handle 3S. If you did want to go 3S, I believe you'll have to upgrade the ESC and motor to be able to accept it.
It's a cheapy, brand less servo from what I recall. But they're 3-wire, so you can replace it with any other servo. Just count the teeth on the output shaft to ensure you buy the correct one. 😉
