Saw them live about 8 yrs ago. Tickets were cheap , they hadn’t had anything new in yrs! I was not ready for them man!! They played every song with so much energy enthusiasm and passion!! They rocked the house!!
You should really go to a Def Leppard concert when concerts start happening again, they tour the US pretty much every year, and they still kill it live, great band!
I so appreciate the twins’ objectivity and willingness to be open to really listening to all genres of music without criticism. Many of those great old videos show some fashion that we might giggle at these days, but they never comment, which makes me realize their maturity and dedication to the music. Love you guys!!

Fun fact: they took the lyrics rock of ages rock of ages still rolling, straight out of the bible. This is one of my absolute favorite songs! I've seen then 14 times. When they start the intro to this song....omg, people including myself, lose their ever loving minds! Joe lead singer gets the entire audience involved! Everybody standing and singing this song at the top of their lungs! Gives me chills thinking of it!

When it came out it definitely didn't blow up VH1 maybe MTV don't even believe vh1 was around yet. MTV Came on the air in 81 and this was released in 83
Not gonna lie, Open up and Say Ahhh had some killer hits on it. Fallen Angel, Your Moma Don't Dance, Every Rose Has Its Thorn.... I never heard much off their first cd but I did like the songs Look What the Cat Dragged In and Talk Dirty To Me.
Love Def Leppard! "Women" is one of my favorite songs of all time. Love Love Love the guitar from beginning to end! You can't go wrong with Def Leppard! Oh and the drummer lost his arm in a bad accident in the 80's, when they were just starting to make it big. They are the only band I know of with a one arm drummer, doesn't even miss a beat and still sound just as awesome! How is that even possible? I don't know, but he does it!

Def Leppard’s ‘Bringing On The Heartbreak’, a VERY early piece of their music, was one of the first medal videos on MTV in 1982. At the end of 1984 their drummer, Rick Allen list his left arm in a car accident. He and another person developed electronic drums for him that utilized his feet. Their BIGGEST album, Hysteria, was later produced. There are many GREAT songs on it. Check out ‘Animal’, ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’, ‘Armegeddon It’, ‘Love Bites’ and ‘Rocket’.

Def Leppard has some great fun rock songs bro, even those without the heavy drum sound! I like to think of them as a rock band with a pop edge! I am 30 and have been a fan since I was 10! My favorite band ever!
This hair metal mixed with the thrash scene in the 80’s. We called the hair metal scene the “poser”scene. The theash scene separated the men from the boys. Yeah the hair metal bands got all the radio play. Thrash scene never got radio play hardly ever. But it’s all good as a look back after 35 years of this. I still like to hear it. But my heart is with the thrash metal scene. But my heart is with the thrash metal scene. Good reaction bro. 👊🏻

The countdown in the beginning was something their producer Mutt Lange said during their recording sessions cause it got boring just doing the normal count down so they put it in the song.
AC/DC LIVE from River Plate please. Any song from that show really, but Highway to Hell, Rock’n’Roll Train, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, TNT, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BANG. And make sure to the live from river plate version, as I guarantee you have never seen a crowd like that one. They are totally in tune with AC/DC, and its amazing.
