I have a part of this song etched on my beloved husband Daves headstone which I let my daughter (who was 14 at the time) design. A blue granite bench, on the front it says "Wherever you go" and on the back it says "I'll be two steps behind"... We lost him early, beautiful, and still young. He used to dance me around our home to this song. Seemed fitting that our names are there and this song will never leave us...

This was my dads funeral song when he died back in november. Really great song and Def leppard was his fav band (he even named my brother after joe elliott). brothers now have def leppard tattoos in memory and dad was cremated in a hysteria top. i have so much respect and love for these guys and this song its ridiculous.

It's so heart warming that Joe wrote this song to Steve. It really says a lot about just how much these guys really do love one another. 💕

Growing up in the 80s, I never imagined Def Leppard doing any acoustic guitar music. They nailed it with this one. The sound of the deep chords, strings, and slow tempo really give a great feel.

This band and song of them is one of my father's favorite song who is 11 yrs dead now. Still remember the times he listens to them with full volume speaker.

Watching videos of them performing, you can really see how much love they have for each other and how much they love what they do. Love the simulated hologram look with the flashing light and such an amazing tribute to an amazing musician.

I'm 58 and been a def. Leopard fan for all the concerts that I've been to and a keyboard player. I just almost lost my life in a coma. At the male hospital in Phoenix and spent 2 more months in 2 other hospitals, and this was kind of my theme song in a sense. Because I was 2 steps behind. I saw Def Leppard in Houston (the stadium tour) summer 2023. Of the four bands who played, they just stood out as the best. Even though they have aged over the years (haven't we all?), they just sounded and looked so good. And, what stood out the most, they looked like they were having fun!! Just really enjoying themselves!!

Another good song from post 1990 Def Leppard. They were young in 1983 when they had a huge success with 1983's Pyromania album and Tour. Rick Allen was only 21 when after that Tour he received a big pay day and bought a Corvette which almost cost him his Life in the accident. He lost only an arm but for a drummer this likely lead to an increased risk for depression and suicide. However, Rick was able to deal with the situation which inspired many. In 1991, guitarist Steve Clark's inability to handle his situation(alcoholism and pill-popping) did cost him his Life(RIP). From 92's Adrenalize album on, DL began recording many more ballads and positive-vib songs which bordered on Christian Rock with song's like: Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad, Stand Up Kick Love into Motion , Two Steps Behind, When Love & Hate Collide, Miss You In A Heartbeat , Breathe A Sigh, We Belong, Good Bye , Long Long Way To Go , Promises , Now, Wings Of An Angel and Work It Out.
