"I challenge you to find something to die for.. then live for it" If you don't get goosebumps everytime he says that, then I don't know what's wrong with you.
he is a true brother ! Finally God created a messenger that the devil couldnt make a rapper! He speaks the true and he speaks with stile. ! God bless him. and i hope he never sells cuz hes words are worth a million and hes talent is priceless.
I get wot u mean bout lupe being deeper...he knows how to express his thoughts well and his use of the characters from his albums helps him do it in a disguised way... everyone listen to "streets on fire" and "the coolest" on his new album...both deserve to be on def jam poetry...
That was some of the illest poeticism eva flowed. Love how homey spits what's real. He just basically summed up what happens when you compromise yo artistic lyricism for nonsense. Also loved how stood up for black women by lettin us brothas know about ourselves. The truth sets us free... hope the majority whose heard this piece actually adhere to it.
im from the south and just love real rap music and when i listen to tupac i dont hear that all the time but he was what he was i just feel there are more rappers that are much better than him for example, eminem, kanye, lupe, jay,and the list goes on.
Its like theMother of a child. She can say whatever she wants to her child its in the family. But no one outside the family will refer to the child the same. And if a person does they make suffer severe conswquences. We as a people just have to understand and respect this. Respect in races have diminished. Respect amongst a people have diminished. Just Love your people......
Damn I hope that ALL people are hearing and listening to what this man talks about, he is deep, Black people its time to get your SH!T together and stop blaming others for our downfall. Time to love one another and help each other, so TOGETHER we can rise as a race, its time to get out the bottom of the barrel!
i knew i heard his voice b4, this was called 'exodus' on Fabolous's album with that 'Breathe' single on it...this dude, should have been shining years ago...thankz for uploading this.
I was saying the same thing... i said to myself he is like the angelic version. DMX is the dark and black ice is the light. he has a similar energy when talking about the rap game and the music industry
At the start of the video, that woman on stage, who was waving to the crowd and walking backstage, who was she? Also, Black's last line was very powerful. Seriously, dude moved me.
Man I look at the view totals on Black Ice's vids...People still don't get him yet. But to anyone who has never heard of him I IMPLORE YOU, if you want to hear what Hip Hop/Spoken word can sound like together as one and not in eachother's way? YOU MUST COP HIS SELF TITLED ALBUM.
I'm a white guy who hates rap, because it is all about money, "the game", and other mindless drivel. THIS is intelligent, THIS honest, THIS is what music should be!
A gift of a large value qualifies as a tax write off. So, when the wealthy signs a poor ghetto youth and gives them an advance, it can be considered to be a gift and can be written off on their taxes as such. Charity is handled the same way. Read a book.
