You are awesome, Brenda!, I feel diabetes free just by listening to all your knowledge on this subject. I went shopping today for all the good, colorful vegetables I could find and I feel good now that I can control what I give my body, thanks to you !
Everyone keeps mentioning this Adventist 2 study, however, when people added some meat to the diet that group lived longer, lived much longer. Look up that Adventist 2 study I think it's table 3. If you want to be the healthiest eat extremely high plant-based diet with a little bit of meat exactly how the blue zones ate! This 100% plant diet is not the healthiest
Very informative video. There isn't much truth out there when searching for facts and answers for prevention and curing diabetes with food. One video says eat this and swears by it and another says don't eat it but this video by far is the best.
There are many plant based doctors on the internet which help you get rid of diabetes! Look up dr Brooke Goldner and Dr Joel Fuhrman who are just a few! Best Wishes
Thank you for being the dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor that you are, you are more honest than I imagined, thank you so much Dr Igudia RU-vid channel for curing my Type 2 Diabetes, you are amazing
I understand the premise of the diet is to cut out the fat to improve insulin resistance, but can you still incorporate some healthy fats from nuts and seeds etc?
@@fidesngendakumana8911 Tatiana is correct. I have been eating plant-based for over a year and it fixed my diabetes and cholesterol problems. It's the only way to go. Protein - beans, lentils, tofu, broccoli, oatmeal, spinach, flax seed, hemp seed, split peas, nuts and so many more. You can combine many of these in a recipe for a variety of proteins.
I started easy vegan program day after Thanksgiving (mostly plants, but also bread and pasta with good results. Finally going full plant based this week and blood glucose readings are greatly improving only after 3 days. Crazy that my doctors never told me I would soon be out of the diabetic range by just following this diet. Thanks for providing this information to those suffering to find the way to living a life of health and energy!
What do you say about drinking fruit juices with no fiber like orange juice and apple juice and how about pomegranate juice. No sugar added. I have a small glass of organic pomegranate juice a few times a week. I am vegan and usually eat a lot of raw veggies and fruits. I follow Dr Joel Fuhrman and Dr Brooke Goldner.
We can talk plants but without a good sauce, dressings, and combinations to marry together. It’s just talk. Non vegans can’t always even find alternatives to cheeses sea weed, etc.
Thank you for the video and educating others :) I'm on raw fruit diet for 1,5 year now and I did suffer a lot from diebetes symptoms not knowing that it's called that so I never shot insulin during last 15 years when my diebetes type 1 symptoms started (I was alcoholic). It's not that dangerous, I suffered cause I used to add a lot of nuts (fat) to my diet but heavy metal toxicity was feeding the virus which attacked my pancreas so I had extreme fatigue and sleep problems, kidney pain every morning, tingling and cold foot and occasional migranes only when eating too much bananas which are the staple of my diet BUT I have got all other benefits of raw vegan diet and there is A LOT, my insuline sensitivity got much better and I'm pretty much close to being completely cured finally when I know that all I need is to eat less and do not touch any fat.
Well, for one, just because it’s vegan, doesn’t mean it’s healthy. Heck, motor oil is vegan. Lotta mother’s smoked. Even breast milk was missing for many. So you might say that sometimes people come out of the womb at a disadvantage.
Quick question: this woman (who expresses herself wonderfully, by the way) says she guessed the Asian woman who weighed 53kg must have had excess weight, which caused her insulin resistance. Is she implying ALL people with insulin resistance have excess weight? I am VERY lean/fit, often get told I am too thin, because I only have muscles, no fat. However, I have insulin resistance. What would be causing the insulin resistance in people like me? Can't it be that we're accumulating fat in muscle cells instead of adipose tissue?
