Today i fished Florida state parks for redfish and snook while telling a story about the recent water quality and conservation efforts. #fishing #florida #paddleboarding
We carry the moral responsibility to be stewards and protectors of our natural resources. Its our Florida This parks, reserves and estuaries. Great video, as always! Tight Lines!
Just stumbled across your channel. Instantly subscribed. Me and me wife/2 yr old son just moved to St Pete, FL a few months ago. Looking forward to volunteering and becoming part of the community. Conservation is EVERYTHING. Same back home in wetland areas of NC. Some people just don’t understand how beautiful nature really is..
As a frequent paddler in SWFL and Ding Darling NWR, I really enjoyed your message. However, I am not sure how the proposal to offer pickleball and golfing opportunities in up to 7 of Florida’s state parks will impact Sanibel’s National Wildlife Refuge. The “second state park” that holds all the cool, juicy video footage of you catching reds on the board is inside Ding Darling NWR which is not under threat by the above referenced recreational development. Keep up your outstanding videos!
I honestly thought it was a state park heading into the trip haha. Figured a refuge was close enough after. And you never know these days, crazy world. Either way, all habitats need to be closely protected!
We need to protect our natural areas. I spoke about this the other day. I grew up near the Disney area, and there are so many spots I can't even step on let alone fish, all due to the rapid development there.
Love your content man. You have a chill calming voice while fishing and use good calming background music that calms my nerves after a bad day at work. I was just at honey.oon island a few weeks ago where they are now talking about building a pickle ball court. I really hope there is something we can do to prevent these parks from being taken over ruining the preserves.
Another great video and solid content. Our parks need to stay open, wild, and undeveloped. For those three reasons, I truly feel blessed to live so close to the ENP and 10k islands...my sanctuary! Keep them coming.
Everglades is so awesome man. Truly my favorite place to fish by far, the places around town tho can offer such awesome fishery’s as well. Blessed to be able to fish them both
Of all the fish in our backwaters, the Redfish is the one that does it for me. Im in love with it. It starts when they crush whatever bait you're throwing at it. They usually arent casual about it or sneaky. When they hit your bait, THEY HIT IT. Then comes the fight. They start pulling drag and you can feel them shaking their head as they try and spit the hook. I imagine it in my mind sorta like a pit bull does when you're playing tug a war with it. A PIT FIT. Once you land it (usually after one or two runs once it gets to the boat) you get to see one of the most beautiful fish there is. That blue boarder that comes out, regardless if its got that deep backcountry orange or the bright silverness of closer to the beaches, is amazing. You'll never not count the false eyes on their tails. You can usually use the word "girthy"" when talking about this fish as well. I love them. In love with them. Will always love them......que the whitney houston ... fade to black..
I can’t wait to watch this channel blow up. Proud of you and thankful that you’re taking a stand against the development of our state. As a native Floridian, I thank you for standing up against the development. Cheers brother.
Loved hearing the bob white calling. That is what should be heard at state park NOT PICKLE BALL PADDLE CONTACTING A PICKLE BALL! Neighbors during Covid built a pickle ball court in one of our community cup-du-sac and had to stop using because of annoying sound from that ball.
Thanks brother. Check out my video on how I shoot my videos I made a couple months ago. I go over all my cameras. I use a Fujifilm XS-10. I will say, FCP color grading helps a ton. Really have deep dived into that. Helps show the colors how beautiful they actually are. I color grade my whole videos now.
