Defense Positioning and Collapsed Digs by The Art of Coaching Volleyball 

Your series is the best on RU-vid. I coach girls 8B volleyball at TJ Middle School in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Most of my girls have very little exposure to V-Ball prior to 7th grade. I have used your teaching techniques religiously for the past two years and incorporated a Bump, Set, Over philosophy. We intentionally want our opponents to hit the ball 3 times by driving the ball to the back row on each set. The idea is to wear them down mentally and physically into making a mistake while using our inexperience to our advantage by keeping it simple. The results have been amazing, my teams are 16 and 4 over the last two years, finished 2nd in Conference in 2014, won our Conference in 2015, and have beat our 8A team in scrimmages the last two years. My starting six girls from 2015 were the High School Freshman team starting six this year. Thank you for sharing your valuable coaching information with all of us. can a front row setter set to the spiker? can a back row setter set in front row?? help me guys..

Super wide stance and knees in maybe good for breaking down, but it's a terrible position in general. So much load and torque on the knees. I love this channel, but I have to disagree with teaching that position

wow...and we wonder why girls struggle...way to make a simple movement have 800 steps....stop overthinking this game.
