Here's how I've figured out how to get a beautifully, moisturized bantu knot out on my coily-kinky natural hair!
There are so many videos on how to do it on loose-textured hair when A LOT of us have tightly curled/coiled/kinky and thick textures. So here's a safe way to get the style for OUR hair! PLUS A GIVEAWAY!

My hair color:
This a custom color job, created by a stylist at a salon, using a professional system not available in beauty supply stores and which requires a valid cosmetology license to purchase--no I do not know the name. Custom colors cannot be recreated precisely, in fact the shade looks different on me every time she touches it up since she blends it up on the spot.
Bleach was not used. We have been lifting my hair lighter and lighter over time using developer (which is not bleach) since October of 2015. I will not post a video on how to color because I am not a licensed cosmetologist and I will not give directions on how to use chemicals that I do not have a good understanding of. If you'd like help with achieving this color, please consult a LICENSED professional who specializes in natural hair because coloring will alter your hair and can damage depending on your texture and the process.
Thanks for watching!

I absolutely love your hair. I am a bit older than you. This is actually my second time going natural. The first time I simply kept my hair in two-stranded twists and every now and then, mainly for special occasions I would twist it out. I never watched RU-vid videos. I didn't even know of all the RU-vid videos doing natural hair. I just discovered all of the naturalistas a few weeks ago and I simply love you all. I recently began practicing putting my twists on perm rods. I have also watched you place you natural hair on perm rods without twisting it first. I plan to practice that next week. I love how elastic, moist, and bouncy your hair it. Great job! You inspire me.

My name is Julia, I'm 19 and I've been fully natural (no heat applied) for almost two years now! I'm currently out of the curling cream and deep conditioner that I used before on my Bantu knots and now I'm in search of a new product to use that will help keep my curls more defined, with a lot of body, bounce and the longevity of my curls! I know that after watching this video and using Daye's tips that are really helpful to me. See how bomb your curls look just makes want to win even more. I mean it really helped me realize why my curls didn't always come out the way I wanted them to. I love watching your videos they've really helped in the beginning stages of finding styles and even now!! 😍😍

Thank you for showing the hit and the miss. That helps so much. I haven't had a perm since late 2010 however I dont have 6yrs worth of growth and length because I was wearing weaves and not taking carecare of my hair underneath. Now I've been weave-free...lol...for almost a year now. I enjoy getting to know my hair but the struggle is real! What Id like to do now is try different products to see what will work on my colored 4c hair so that I can get a better sense of what will work for me. Thanks for sharing and encouraging Daye!

Thanks for tips on Bantu knots. This is my 2nd turn on my natural journey and I can never get my knots to turn out right. Kudos to you for sharing your tips and thoughts in all your tutorials. I would love to win these products, I have several neices I would love to introduce to a product that conditions and satisfies their styling needs. If I don't win, CONGRATS to the lucky winner! !! I would like to win because I have been on my natural hair journey for four years now. However in my weakest moment I made a major mistake and permed my daughter's hair. Her hair type is different from mines and I thought I was doing us both a favor but all I did was murder my baby's hair. So, over again we started. I chopped off all the perm. which left her with about 4 inches from new growth. Even though she and I were both sad we understand that it was necessary in order for her hair to be healthy and grow stronger. I would love to see how this product would work for her hair and give her the confidence to rock her curly fro!

I would like to win because when I was 6 I had my hair cut off and I have been trying to grow it back but I had a really bad eczema breakout on my body and unfortunately reached my scalp and made my hair fall out even since it started growing back the texture haven't been the same so I've been looking for the right products to use to grow my hair and keep my hair moisturized .

I want to win this product because I'm searching for a product that could respond to my hair a lot better. I always love watching your videos. You gave me hope that I can achieve Bantu knots and curls style more effectively just by proper moisture and just styling tips.

Thanks for the video and the reality check on those Bantu knots! I love how you showed your "struggle knots" and gave us hope for when things don't turn out right the first time. I would love to win these products because I have never tried them before and I am trying to find the product that works best for me!

I love your videos I'm trying to do natural things to my hair such as Bantu Knots or using the rods but they never come out right because I don't have great products to do it with. I would love to use these products Every Strand because I believe it would help me with my natural journey

Excellent Bantu knot out tutorial! I loved the technique you used. I usually two strand twist my hair and then Bantu knot it, but would like to experiment with the technique you showed. The products looked as if they left your hair with extreme moisture, shine and bounce! I would love to win these products just to see if they would work well with my hair as each natural's hair texture and they way they "play" with products is unique!
