I have no opinion on so many things, I think it can be a bit exhausting with how it seems as though you should always have an opinion about everything these days even if it’s completely uninformed etc!
There's something incredibly freeing about the realization that you don't actually need to have an opinion on everything. You can take a break from living in a constant state of evaluation and just accept things as they are for a moment. Why did it take a man wearing his own face on his torso in the form of a personified piece of pizza telling me that to realize it?
I still find it so weird that I know I like John and Hank as humans, and I look up to them, but they have no idea who I am. Like it makes sense, but also it’s such a strange “relationship” to have

Alright, well I found a site with some nice traffic data. It's not google analytics, so I can't be sure of accuracy. The most recent data is November 5, so we'll have to wait a few days to see the results of the discount. Also, I'm using site traffic as a proxy for sales, which is not terrible, but still a proxy. Wow, great site! Shame they won't let non subscribers view the content. Though I'd really question the validity of the proxy. Discounts always generate interests, but how much of it translates into sales varies a bit too much for this proxy to work.
Yeah, this is bound to be inaccurate. First of all, the proxy has issues, as you pointed out. Second, that site doesn't (and no other sites) go deeper than dftba.com in general, meaning any spike in traffic may be distorted by noise. Third, all of these sites are estimates, not exact values. The solution here is for Hank to pull out his Google analytics and give us the deets. +vlogbrothers, please? Regardless, there is a visible spike in usage on November 7th. According to the site, traffic jumped to 83,595 from around 78,000, the running average. 83,595 is the highest daily traffic value in the past 30 days, and higher than the monthly average for the past 6 months. This is around a 7% increase in total dftba.com traffic, not an insignificant amount. Unfortunately, we don't know the proportion of dftba visitors that went for pizzamas merch, so we can't say what sort of increase this is for pizzamas traffic. We can say that it appears that around 5,000 people decided to at least look into pizzamas merch on November 7th after the discount was announced, on top of those who were already planning to visit the site. As another data point, you can look up pizzamas on google trends and see a spike on the 7th that outweighs the week before it, although I think Oct. 31, has a larger spike. Can't put them on the same graph.

If you don't have an opinion on the actions you're taking, you're heading down a slippery slope. Admittedly your slippery slope has led you to Pizzamas merch so you may just be skiing which is awesome.

My older sister asked what I wanted for Christmas so I sent her the link to a pizzamas shirt I really wanted. She then went on to ask me and I quote “what the heck is pizzamas” and I went on to say “oh don’t try to get me to explain it. It’s basically John’s face and pizza” and she said “I knew better than to ask.” 😂
I just need you to know that I watch this video whenever I have a lot of anxiety. If it doesn’t fix the anxiety it at least makes me laugh and that’s not nothing.

It honestly is so tiring when someone looks at my pizza john shirt and every single time they ask who it is. I tell them it is famous author John Green sporting a mustache and promoting pizza and that is all they need to know.
By far the best vlogbrothers video I've seen in a long time. Not, like, in terms of content... just in happiness. I haven't seen some good good care-free Green content in too long. It felt nice. 10/10 more deliriously goofy brother videos please. Made me feel more ready to face the world.
