Hi! I choose my soil based on what I'm growing. For succulents I usually use a cactus and succulent mix, which has a lot more sand than organic material, for tropicals, I'll use something that will retain more moisture. In the case of this tiny pot, I just used regular potting soil as the plants were so small.
