I remember watching all these games for those Worlds rewards. DRX caught my eyes the moment they reversed sweep EDG and I fucking cried. That shit was inspiring and continued to watch all their matches with hype. Seeing them win Worlds against Faker has to be the best Underdog VS Goliath story. What an amazing Worlds.

Everytime I see the reactions after they win or deft crying I can't help but burst into tears, what a journey it has been.

This is the best esports story in any game ever. You cant deny it, all the story lines...its too much to explain and it was such a beautiful story.

Zeka’s game 5 performance against edg is one of the greatest in history

Drx mental strength was above all teams just vs EDG 2-0 and game 3 was so close to go home

that moment at 3:00 is quite literally perfect. the swiftness of zeka in this fight is so beautiful and the casting just makes it 10x better. DID i mention this is game 5? after coming back from down 2-0 because of the once in a lifetime inhib respawn. might be my favorite league moment ever.

The funny thing about Zeka's quadra kill is that he said "Who stole my Penta?" he wanted to kill them all xD you can hear him in the DRX videos where you can see his video calls.

I was waiting for someone to make something like this for Worlds this year. What a journey for DRX. Awesome job with the editing and music.

watching this reminded me of a moment from the EVO fighting game championship: after Tokido won the SFV tournament at EVO 2017 an interviewer asked him if he had anything to say about his win. his only response was "fighting games... are something so great". and that's all he needed to say. the passion, the work and determination, the drive to push your body to the absolute limit of what your dexterity can do, are what make fighting games something so great, what makes esports worth watching. and just like that moment, watching DRX win gives me this overwhelming emotion and sense of pride to share a community with people who care enough to cry their eyes out because deft won after years and years of work. I don't think any storyline at worlds will ever top this one. congrats, DRX. you earned it.

DRX, story of the Kingslayers. Defeated the current kings, EDG, in Quarters. Defeated Ruler of GenG, King of 2017 Worlds, in Semis. Then Defeated the Demon King, Faker, an Emperor of the SKT Dynasty, 2013, 2015, 2016.

The fact that it would have been a bigger upset if T1 won shows you how great these guys were. With all the bullshit; lost objectives, respawning inhib they still won showing a huge dominance on the filed. Truly untiltable!

Their fairy tale became a true story.
