T1 vs JDG Game 4, a team fight by Gumayusi that will be remembered for years. While the series was filled to the brim with constant action, this is a quick breakdown on one specific team fight where Gumayusi perfectly outplays a 1v2 against JDG's Ruler and 369 to qualify him for yet another Worlds title.
The main purpose of this video was to highlight the insane movement by Gumayusi to come out top of top of the 1v2. There were quite a few key points that I missed out on. There has been quite a bit of discussion on the Reddit thread I also posted which has great discussions if you'd like to read on more observations and things I didn't highlight in this video. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link the thread here so you're going to have to find it yourself.
Things missed:
Ruler made the decision to flash in reacting to Keria's Bard ultimate. Ruler could have decided to go to the left of the wall where he would be in fog of war, but Ruler also used his E dash just before this fight so he wouldn't have a wall hop over to be in range of Gumayusi. The first hit that Ruler lands on Gumayusi was also his Q and not his AA, I wasn't sure and so I second guessed myself while editing the video only to find out I was right from the beginning. Gumayusi's flash was also a reaction to 369's Aatrox Q3 which would have knocked him up for an easy kill, but the fact that Gumayusi STILL went for an auto attack onto Ruler before flashing was ballsy as hell. Gumayusi was also pre-emptively hitting targets which procced his Lethal Tempo and Guinsoos Rageblade as soon as he AA'd Zeri before flashing. The shield that's on him is from the rune Overheal. The first Q that Ruler used after flashing actually did hit Varus and was not an AA, meaning he only dodged 2 Zeri Q's during the fight. Also at 3:04 it was 2 Zeri Qs, 1 Zeri AA and one additional Aatrox AA that I missed.
