The best freaking song on Deftones' "Gore". This song always gives me the chills and try to sing it out loud live!

This song reminds me on my little brother that passed away a few months ago. He was a massive deftones fans.

The intro to this song is possibly my favourite piece of music ever. It just does something to me.

Been waiting for this one since the start! Yes!!!!!!!

I love how Chino and Stephen have such different styles....but work together so well. Stephen brings the heavy riffs, chromatic weirdness, odd time signatures, and wall-of-sound shoegaze. His guitar approach is obviously a huge part of what makes this band such transcendent songwriters. But then Chino's style of single-note melodic lines is SO evocative and inspired. They have this red-lit urban noir liminal vibe to them. Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" is a perfect example of that kind of guitar line...the lead line specifically. Man, imagine Deftones covering that?? Now I want to hear that...! Lastly....for anyone who's into that whole vibe, specifically the vibe of Hearts/Wires....you gotta check out Ethel Cain's song Gibson Girl. Within the first few seconds you'll immediately see what I mean. It's so good.....
