My apple slices are sticking to the tray, should i keep going for longer? It seems like your's just comes right off. Thanks for the recipe, smells super good here at the moment!
Sometimes they will stick. You can lightly spritz the tray with oil before placing the apples on to help with this. I usually just try one (or two or three) to be sure they are done. You don't want any moisture left but they don't have to be crispy. After some practice you just get a feel for it.
@@WisdomPreserved we did our apples last night and dusted them with cinnamon. We did not use sugar and they are not hot at all. They taste good but they are kind of rubbery/spongy. Nothing like your video shows. We have the same dehydrator as you. 🤔
If you want them to be crispy you may have to use a higher temperature but you risk burning them. Dehydrated apples should be a little chewy. If I want mine crispy then I will usually use the freeze dryer.
