Vigil has to be one of the best counters for Deimos, if you're saying about only himself because it'll be hard to ID vigil, and if he is ID'd, he can just activate his gadget if he is being targeted.
"Try not to disappoint Me, soldier." - Gerald "Deimos" Morris. At this point, I noticed that the most of Raimbow agents are just toys, compared to Deimos' training and experience. He literally knows what he's doing with extreme precision of the situation he finds himself in.
Ubisoft needs to buff operators like Mute and Kapkan who have so much stuff to deploy. Like just give them faster deployment of their gadgets to smooth out the prep phase just a tad would be nice, especially since Mute is a 1 speed as well and can't cover ground as fast
There’s nothing worse then being a solo mute and trying to setup rotates and your jammers as fast as possible, only for you to finish and see no reinforcements on site ;-;
Well Kapkan got indirectly buffed because how we are going to go through barricaded doors. People will no longer vault air, they'll actually do like a shoulder tackle which makes them hit traps more consistently.
Yea i miss 2 speed mute like wtf is ubi thinking? Mute is a fucking 1 speed that has no 1.5 or 2x sights and he needs to setup so much stuff... but i mean ubi always bad with balance cause they have no clue about their own game
His Vendetta Special has the exact same dmg and drop off stats as the LFP586 does. Max 78 dmg and at ~12.5 meters it maxes out it’s drop off with a permanent 48 dmg.
We thought about this. Turns out it's very easy for people to reflexively switch weapons and waste their ability when they didn't mean to, so we opted for the error message instead.
Pretty decent video. I'm curious about the interaction when it comes to Brava hacking a mute jammer. If a defender stands in a jacked hammer, will they still be pinged for Deimos and will they lose the ping of deimos. What if Deimos then stands in a hacked Jammers radius, can he hide from defenders yet still get their pings?
I wonder if they are gonna refund deimos’s charges when it fails to find the defender. Seems pretty busted that he just gets hard countered by so many ops.
Wait a new strategy could be to turn the deathmark on to get intel on where the opponents are, and then switch it off when you get the ping so that you can take the gunfight with your primary.
@coreross can you make an updated video about the reputation system?? I've been so frustrated lately about it. Never been toxic in any way, but been trying for the last 3 to 4 weeks, to reach "Exemplary". But when I get close for some reason, "Griefing" starts to rise and I believe it's cause is false reports from players in-game (you didn't clutch, you didn't rush, you didn't went recruit idk)...
Last I checked the way it's supposed to work is that if the jammer is friendly to Deimos, the pings will show. He chose to make them appear and he can turn them off himself, so he won't want his allies turning them off. I don't know if we tested Drava hacking the jammer while he was inside of it, but in theory that should reenable the pings on both sides.
Tbh the argument of his ping making it not a fair fight isnt really valid as Damos uses a pistol (whilse a powerfull then its still a pistol) and the tracked person can use anything
Deimos is going to be so oppressive to Solis & Cav who don’t have a way to counter him. I have a feeling between the Solis nerfs for Y9S2 & Deimos that she’s gonna be unplayable then they want to do even more to nerf her in Y9S3. And she’s basically gonna be worse than Blackbeard or Sens at that point.
Deimos IS fighting fair, sure you don’t have the same tracking on him as he has on you, but you have a primary weapon, it coild be an automatic weapon or a shotgun, he is using as six round revolver with no magnification, this seems pretty fair to me, because even if you don’t know his percise location, you can still spray his general location and kill him, he doesn’t have that advantage and thus needs to know your pwrcise location.
I havent played siege in 2 years. Has the toxicity problem been fixed? Or did the reputation system not make much of a difference? I'd like to come back to the game again at some point, but i wanna know it'll be worth it
Thanks for making this! I really appreciate you going through the trouble of clarifying all the little details of how my boy works in such a neat and tidy package. Cheers, Deimos' designer
They should let you remove the sight on the 44 Vendetta, its really lame that its not magnified and id honestly rather just use irons. The option to would be nice, while they're at it, they should do the same with Kaid's 44
Believe me I asked. Turns out having sight options on secondary weapons is problematic from a tech side (not impossible, but would require overhauling several systems so it can't be done easily or quickly), so I was forced to pick between having a scope or iron sights. I opted for the scope since it was a cleaner sight picture and it gave us the option to add magnification in the future if ever we wanted to have that as a balancing lever.
@@seekthuth2817 Diemos is at his best through coordination to actually maximize his potential. He's similar to Grim, Lion & Jackal but unlike them he actually has relay the information he gets (actually doing call outs. Since most of the community sits in a party or Discord call this immediately makes him a little underwhelming) and he's restricted to a pistol. Lion, Grim and Jackal still can use their both primaries & secondaries (which are better than Deimos' load out), more solo friendly, and their ability automatically relay info to the team without any extra effort.
@grantmarsh327 I opened some doctors' curse packs. The game gave me a small amount of R6 credits when it wasn't supposed to, and ubisoft banned me with about 20 thousand plus players when it was out of our control 🙃
