Just want to say that I'm NOT an expert, but I feel like I've done enough research to conclude that no, extreme cold can't be capable of extinguishing a grenade's fuse but could add more time before detonation. It might be because of the chemicals used to start the delay of the grenade and the extreme cold slowing down the chemicals. Again, I'm not an expert. I just do research.
probably not because combustion is already contained within the fuse so it has everything it needs, but im sure theres a study on temp related to fuse timings somewhere
The fuse inside is chemical and is in a self contained area so I'm pretty sure even liquid nitrogen levels of cold wouldn't be able to each reach the fuse in the time it takes to detonate.
One idea I had is using the Zoto canister to hide the fact that a wall is electrified. This would require the attacker to place their hard breach on the ice thinking that was all that was on the wall and then once the ice goes away, the hard breach gadget would instantly be destroyed by the electricity. Just an idea.
if you were that concerned destroying gadgets, i think its a better idea to have your bandit/kaid not electrify the wall, freeze it when the hard breach is set, then have bandit/kaid set their devices. this dodges emps too and also gives kaid an opportunity to still put his claws in hard to reach places. of course, it does mean you dedicate 2 players to the wall for a considerable portion of the round, which i think is going to weaken plays a lot of the time if the attackers are aware of tuburao
My question is... Can it restart or repair Aruni's laster gate after it got disrupted after a frag or drone thrown on it? But bit brain tricks thou, throw the gadget on Aruni gate to save it from a thrown frag or drone because it's faster than letting it being disrupted.

i was wondering if tubarao puts ice on an active thermite charge or an ace that has been deployed (when it looks like an x) if you can pick them up off the wall while it’s frozen.
I love the idea that the gadget interacts with literally every gadget. However, it's gonna be a rough while everyone figures out how to use them. I can already see people accidentally or intentionally throwing ranked matches by ruining their teammates gadgets
It doesn’t destroy team gadgets just muted them. It prevent defenders from stacking the usefulness of the freeze affect with other defender gadgets and bringing an element of caution for tubarão so that he can’t just senselessly throw his gadgets
I don’t understand why he effects all gadgets, but not the actual bomb diffuser. It’s a electronic and I personally believe attackers shouldn’t be able to plant the diffuser while in the ice. It would make this operator a amazing pick and give people an actual reason to play him.
just wanted to note that it's fantastic the devs put the thought into Lion's gadget not being countered. it makes logical sense (and my boy Mute has a W in that regard. no idea if teeechnically Mute shouldn't counter Lion, but I love that he does.)
Any Operator is Siege's best troll Operator. Anyone can team kill, anyone can blind teammates, anyone can destroy drones/gadgets, etc. Trolling is such a minimal factor in balance there is not many scenarios where it's considered. I do still think he should put out fire. It would introduce a hard-counter to Capitao, but would make it so the Defenders are in the ice if it's on an important position.
Not true. You can't troll with many operators besides team-killing. For example you can't use Tatcher's EMP to disable your teammates gadgets or gun sights. You can only troll with Maestro, Echo, Twitch, Capitao, Fuze, maybe flashbangs etc.. But this is all very minimal, and you really have to try trolling to succeed. But with Tubarao, you can troll so easily, you can basically ruin your whole team's gadgets if you put your freezing canisters under the room's floor. He has too much trolling powers. Also, players will accidentally ruin their teammates gadgets because the area of effect has a wide radius.
@@twentytwo138 Well sure, but you can also just shoot the canister. Plus, you can shoot your teammates drones and gadgets. Anyone can troll, some are prominent than others, but you can troll nonetheless. I'm not saying trolling isn't a problem or shouldn't be talked about, but really you don't encounter it often, and people who do it are punished.
A question I have for next video, what is the interaction like for Impact EMPs and Thatcher EMPs, does it disable the gadget and remove the ice? Also, does Brava's Kludge drone just destroy the Zoto canister similar to how it just destroys bandit batteries?
Can you use the phone on the ice? I feel like it wouldn’t make alot of sense if you can disconnect dokkabei calls but still able to use your phone in the ice
I feel like Tubaro should be a more punishing counter to Fuze. Like if his cluster charge gets frozen then it "jams" and explodes on Fuzes side. Doesn't have to be a big explosion, just enough to down Fuze if he's dumb enough to stand close
ice is an insulator yes, but for the most part, the colder a metal gets, the more conductive it gets (at least in my knowledge) also the colder metal gets, the weaker it gets, to the point you could just straight up punch through steel
I'm very excited for that operator, not only he seems very fun and very useful but we got another DMR on defense, I might finally replace Aruni as my main defense op
He doesn't really seem that complicated, just versatile. People can find a lot of interesting ways to play him I'm sure. He seems like he's gonna be a really fun OP
Ok, but question regarding electrical stuff. Kaid is obviously arcing electricity. I thought bandit was a direct connection to the wall, ergo ice should not insulate against his effects? I mean, even if the ice was too thick to let the electrical get to the thermite charge, the wall should still be live, right?
Oh another thing is the new operators gadget will also remove your thermal heat signature from glaz scope The instability of that is because when frozen occur onto the body and Sub-Zero temperatures you no longer will see in thermal😮
It should blank out an entire area and/or leave outlines, then. Also? Isn't Jackal's gadget a reference to the old, well known fact that thermal optics are good for seeing footprints up close?
I just found out he can't see people which are in the canisters range highlighted. The question if it does affect his scope if he's in remains unanswered
No. You can only place one cluster charge at a time. when you have a cluster charge placed, the middle mouse button just triggers it. you cant pull another out
Has it been tried yet but? It stops everything electronic and mechanical in game so one would think it would work on diffuser as well whether if you think it be ground breaking or not if it worked or not.@@lewidavies304
When I saw the reveal of this op I actually said to myself that I don't like him. From all the years I've played I've always said that's a cool op ( up until year 6 to 7 because I stopped playing ). But then once I saw some game play I was like this guy is cool
