Deion Sanders FULL press conference after Colorado’s loss vs. Stanford | ESPN College Football 

I went to sleep at half time. Woke up 4 hours later trying to understand. Watching replays in amazement. Stanford played amazing in the last 15. Hats off to Sanders for his professionalism in the postgame presser.

That defense cannot stop nobody

I remember reading about Pat Riley (if I'm not mistaken) saying, "The very least that a coach can expect from his players is the same level of passion he has". In this, he and Coach Prime are of one and same mindset.

This one hurts more than a better team beating you by sixty….Trust

I understand why athletes who have won at the highest levels don’t wanna coach because the players don’t practice or train like they did. This was a hard loss and I hope they can regroup.

This team has been quite humbled in the past few weeks

After a Colorado win and the media have gone full orgasm mode, Sanders talks about how he has developed the players. After a Colorado loss, he talks about the players not doing their jobs on the field. Oh wow how he has turned a losing team around so quickly..Let's be realistic, he took all his best players from Jackson St. and combined them with the best players from the Colorado team. How often does a new teams coach get to do that?

Blowing a 29 point lead means you got out coached in the 2nd half

100% blame for this loss is on Deion. No one doubts Travis Hunter is an exceptional defensive back. No one denies Travis Hunter is an above average wide receiver. But. But. But, having Travis Hunter consistently play both defense and offense, without appropriate rest degrades his defensive and offensive prowess. Watch him get burned repeatedly on defense. Watch him not have the energy to get open or run without sufficient speed and finesse after the catch on offense. Hunter is half the player his talents suggests in the second and fourth quarters. What does Travis Hunter's playing consistently on both sides of the ball prove? Nothing. There is no benefit to his teammates.

Gee Deion, didn’t even mention Stanford once. The toughest academic school to get into. 4% admissions rate. The #1 overall sports program in the USA. Give Stanford some credit, dude. Just because Stanford Football has been in the dumpster the last few years, give the Cardinal some credit for their discipline and commitment to winning. Not bad for a bunch of future surgeons, CEO’s, tech leaders and scientists. Go Cardinal!

I don't remember a time where I paid so much attention to a press conference. I hope the team can pull it together.

That “match” answer is the exact reason why the all time great athletes stay away from coaching because they can’t comprehend someone not playing as hard or as great as they did. I felt that last answer from him. Can’t wait to see the team bounce back!

Don’t call it a 2OT loss. They blew 29 point lead in one half.

"They play for clicks, we play to win". As humbling as the Oregon game was this was humiliating.

Travis Hunter really needed those three weeks off if they’re gonna continue to have him play over 100+ snaps a game.

John Madden had 3 rules as a coach 1. Pay Attention 2. Be On Time 3. Play Hard when I tell you to. 17 penalties shows Colorado players are not paying attention. Blowing a 29-0 lead, at home, to a 1-4 team. Tells us the Colorado players do not play hard all the time. This loss is 100% on Deion Sanders.

I’m in complete shock right now! I’m going to say this.. As much as I love Shaduer Sanders as a quarterback, he has to work harder on his overall leadership skills as the quarterback. It’s going to be on him to galvanize this team to win games going forward. Because he’s a privileged kid and Deion’s son, he might be a bit self absorbed and may not have the character and wisdom yet to understand the jealousy that can sometimes come from his own teammates. He has to find a way to make his offensive line feel better about themselves and start getting rid of the football faster when the play is dead. Overall, There is a lack of cohesion in this team that is apparent. The intangibles that are missing from this football team is a camaraderie and unity. I believe Deion Sanders has his favorites which obviously includes his own sons and a few others. From a far, I believe that there are some players who are disgruntled with Coach Prime and the things that are happening in practice are probably festering behind the scenes. It’s the only way to make sense of how a team blows a 29 point lead at home against a supposedly inferior opponent. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Buffaloes rebound from this devastating defeat. I’m team Prime all day long but I understand human nature and the psychology of life and sports. There are some problems internally that need fixing in Colorado before the season ends in disaster. There’s a lot of talent on this roster but in watching from a far, they are not playing as a team yet!

I'm not a Colorado fan or a Deion fan, BUT regardless of this tough loss, I have to admit he's turned around a a program that was on life support. Gotta give the man his props.

I just love listening to him speak. He's so respectful of the media, he doesn't point fingers, he accepts all the responsibility for everything, and holds himself accountable. He's eloquent, he's composed, level headed, and expects the best from everyone and himself. Beautiful to see...

Lots of learning for Colorado!! Living in Roseville, CA, I am super happy for Troy Taylor. This victory for Stanford makes up for the loss to Sacramento State. Both Coaches are good men and that is more important than their roles as coaches. Keep being gracious, Coach Sanders. Congratulations Coach Taylor! Next game.

Never a dull moment with this team. More than you can say for a Colorado football team in a long time. The wins and consistency will come with better recruiting.

Stanford kept my Ducks off the field all except for one time in the 1st Quarter. Stanford will confuse the heck out of a Defense. We kept them to 6 points, Thank God, but they move the ball around like a magician with plays coming from seemingly nowhere. Thankfully Ducks figured them out and shut them down. Hats of to Stanford who always gives team fits.

He handled this Post game media press conference very well

All talk. He never talks about the game and what went wrong. Or any adjustments they should have made. He’s a mascot for the team. He always talks about what people should do and never anything about the actual game.

I was shocked to wake up to a colorado defeat. I watched the first half and then had to go to work. What a surprise....one thing though, I noticed more times that in other games when a bad play happened it appeared as though the colorado players were blaming each other for mistakes made. I played football from the age of 8 years old through high school and most every coach I had always told us never blame each other...suck it up and try to do better. Blaming premotes dis harmony, and when that happens team play suffers...just an observation.

Kudos to Deion Sanders for being the consummate professional during this interview and not losing his cool after his team surrendered a 29-0 lead only to lose this game. I would have been LIVID.

I gotta say, as hard as I am on the circus that is Coach Prime's team, his interviews are still great, and he speaks the truth.

Tough loss for the Buffs hopefully they bounce back would love to see them in a bowl game, hopefully they can make it. Hats off to Stanford Cardinal down 29-0 at the half most teams would give up but they didn't they fought back and won.

First Coach not to call out the quarterback play… (wonder why)

Stanford #13 had 294 yards receiving and 3 TDs on 13 receptions almost all in the second half. Average of 22 yards per. People want to make excuses or blame coaching but nobody could stop him. #23 got cooked, Hunter got cooked and the DC could scheme to stop 13 to save his life.

Absolutely horrible loss and it’s on Coach prime. When you’re up that big at halftime it’s on the coach to keep the guys focused.

As long as I've been playing and watching sports, the comeback keeps happening. I have also been on both sides of the comeback. Luckily for me one of those comebacks came in a championship game. These games happen and they only suck for one of the teams involved.

Look you gotta give Hunter a break. You are gonna wear him out. He’s gotta play either corner or WR. Hunter looks gassed by the end of every game. He’s a great talent and maybe be a guy that can contribute on offense but not be the main guy and cover the number one on the other side as well.

How can you NOT respect him? Don't blur the lines w/his playing career, btw, one of THE best to play CB, but he was over the top at times, but as a coach, a leader of young men, pretty respectable.

Colorado's defense is a major problem. Colorado is too reliant on their offense to score big numbers to win games and thats not gonna work in the PAC12 or any conference.. Colorado needs to tone down this hype train and have a long look at themselves.. Tough loss.
