I'm watching this as I txt you thinking exactly the samething we have to keep him protected by way of prayer 🙏 cause you and I both know when he start dipping into there money 💰 source it can be dangerous ijs and I don't think I'm over thinking this.
Amen to that. The key thing is, Deion Sanders is a God fearing man and he puts God first he seeks his guidance in everything he does. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. And let's not forget, God is always on time.
@Leroy Gardner that's true. I believe Eddie Robinson who was the coach for Grambling State University did a lot during the off season in lifting up the community there in Louisiana. Deion has a passion not only for football and young kids, but also the community there in Jackson. God bless him.
I used to live in Texas and used to see Deon at this barber shop in Plano. He was always hugging and loving on his sons. I paid attention to those behaviors and I'm the same with my 3 kids.
OMGEEE I CAN LISTEN TO THIS MAN TALK ALL DAY. DEION IS MY FAVORITE FOOTBALL PLAYER EVER.. HEARING HIM SPEAK AND ACKNOWLEDGE GOD IN EVERYTHING HE DOES MAKES ME APPRECIATE HIM EVEN MORE
Deon said something real about giving back. I went to an HBCU and just made a donation to my former marching band. It's been over 20 years since I been in the band and I am making it my purpose go get others to donate as well.
I’m so glad programs like Jackson State and JUCO are shining light on talent and perseverance that would never receive any attention. Jackson State definitely chose the right coach for the job.
@@johnjohn0 everything else he does is marketing/sales. He's required to sell an assumed inferior product, so he has to be in pitch mode 24/7. Maybe you just don't like extroverted people, lol.
@@johnjohn0 the name thing was him setting a standard or precedent for how he wants to be addressed. His point was not to address him on a first name basis without an existing relationship. What was incorrect was reporting that he 'walked out' of a press conference when he actually didn't. As for things QB related, he knew those guys were going to break under the pressure of his son coming right behind them. But their leaving the program only proves him right.
I just love Deion Sanders. My daughter said the same thing after attending the OBC. We both agreed that he cares about more than just the athlete. He cares about preparing them for the future and he's trusting God with it all.
I lived in Tally(Tallahassee) during the Prime Time Era when he was at FSU! I saw and heard of the good and the bad, but mostly the good of a young man with phenomenal athletic abilities. From the time he left FSU to become a professional player in two sports again phenomenal! Years later, becoming a high school coach and a parent, phenomenal! As I watched and saw his progress, I was intrigued with his growth and maturity, his biggest asset was when he opened himself up to God and blew the doors off the wall! Going from a player at a white institution, to professional player, to becoming a coach at a black institution, brought happiness to my heart! He came in being real and wanted change for the betterment of all black institutions not just Jackson State! As he has said God showed him a picture and direction and he took the path given to him! Yes, I’m proud of what he’s doing and accomplishing, not only in his life, but his family, and for the black community as a whole! All I can say is that he is blessed and a soldier of God and will take his journey a long way for all of us! We must back and support him and let him know that we love and appreciate what he’s doing for us and our kids, for they are our future!
I'm GLAD that Deion Respected and Acknowledged #THEFACT that **JACKSON STATE was JACKSON STATE** #Before he was hired! He is an asset to the University, as well as the University is an asset to his Family!❤💯#THEEILOVE #ILOVEMYHBCU
Deion. You blessed me with this interview. Thanks for your honesty and humility bro! My prayer is that the LORD will guide you and use you in bigger and better ways.
"Come in here flat like a dollar bill & come out four quarters. I mean change."-Deion Sanders He just said a mouthful. He is literally changing their future.
It takes a lot of hate in your heart and mind to give this interview a thumbs down. I thank you gentlemen for that great educational and positive energy generating interview 🙏.
They are here heavy. Some are jealous that he is not coaching and bringing attention to their university. The only HBCUs I knew, where Howard and Grambling. He is bring attention to the Players and Universities. Which brings money
Always been 1 of my favs from da Genesis ❤. He lucky I'm 50 w/ no eligibility left. I would be out there busting my butt to make a difference in the SWAC community. God Bless Prime!
Look...92-96 Player here. Yeah Yeah, 100 years ago. Great< Champion Years!!! Coach Prime is making it Jaackson State, Great again!!! talk to you soon Coach Prime!!!!
I hope to God Coach Prime Deion Sanders is at Jackson State for a very long time. I'm out of college and I'm motivated by his enthusiasm. May God bless you Coach Prime.
My man "Prime" the most genuine brother ever! Great as a player, a man, now as a coach. I wish you guys all the success imaginable not only at Jackson State, but HBCUs collectively.💯
The cool thing about this interview is that you can apply what Coach is saying to your everyday life. Regardless of whether you are working as a professional, or just holding down a job, or just simply applying this advice to your everyday personal life, it's still some very good information that this man is sharing with us.
I love this! Deion is a godsend not only to JSU, but to the HBCU program in general. He's shining a light on some of the challenges that have been in existence for years not only at JSU, but with the state of Mississippi. Deion is looking to turn JSU into a winning program that will will upend some of the bigger D1 schools which will bring money to the program and eventually money to Mississippi.
A Godsend… I’m impressed with what I hear. Deion is still “swaggy” with a little arrogance, as when he was younger, but I hear a lot of wisdom. We should, prayerfully, mature as we age. God bless him as he works to make positive change. ~Christ is LORD~
Great interviewer. From the questions he asked you would have never known that he's known Coach for a quarter of a century. The questions weren't softballs and the interview wasn't a praise job. He wanted Coach to elaborate more on some his answers, and Coach delivered.
Deion is tied for my favorite athlete of all time. a true GOAT. balls of steel. indomitable spirit. unreal athletic talent. brilliant genius IQ on the fields.
I love this interview, as an HBCU grad (S.U.) I am thankful anytime the programs are being exposed to a new audience, new resources and opportunities!!!! If this is what it takes, let's go Prime!
Being from Jackson, Mississippi and growing up within walking distance from Jackson State, and being a big fan of Deion Sanders as a football player and as a person, like many of you, I’m also disappointed that he’s leaving Jackson State. But we have to take into consideration that it’s Deion Sanders decision and from a business standpoint , I totally understand why he made he decision. No matter what profession you’re in, you have to at least be looking for better opportunities which don’t come along often but when you have a family to provide for and financial obligations, you have to consider the best available opportunities which in this case he did. I’ll definitely miss Coach Prime but i really wish him well going forward.
The best sports interview I've ever witnessed. When you cherish the creator who gave you the talent...You always win. Cornwallis said, losing at Yorktown...Everything will change...everything has changed. We are witnessing a revolution in sports. American kids have a General, a role model and God has their backs. It's about time. I'd love to watch sports again.
Its about controlled growth, in depth planning, and near flawless execution. Results are visible, rewarding, and you see future benefits. JSU football, Swac sports, and HBCU's.
The fact that both of his sons transfered to play for their father. Speaks volumes.. They have a lot of respect for him, and they know what he expects.
@@BaronVonBielski Shilo was playing at South Carolina...Fbs and doing quit well. Look it up. Even if they weren't his boys. What Coach in the right mind. In the SWAC, wouldn't want to put 4 star players in the field. That's not too bright....
This was very powerful! Him n Muhammad Ali are my favorite athletes of all time. Like he said his gift is MARKETING n that's a great one to have especially in today's world.
How fun would it be to play for this guy. Wow. As a life long Falcons fan, I’m 56, I loved what Deion brought to us. I so loved that he chose to enter the HOF as a Falcon. I so appreciate his courage and desire to keep learning and trying and risking. Truly he is a role model.
Our Jurisdictional Supervisor said “don’t major in minor things.” 🙌🏾 We don’t give back to what blessed us, the giving don’t match the living. You are preaching a sermon, sir. I wish Mr. Bill Nunn was still physical on God’s Earth. He would have those JSU players in the Steel City. Coach Sanders was appointed and anointed for such a time as this. God’s manifold Blessings, Miracles and Favor be with Jackson State University always and forever. Excellent interview. 👏🏾
Never understood how a mother can carrie a blue chip baby for 9 months and not send him or her to a HBCU. Coach Prime is HISTORY in the making. Got my support.
This is a great man. He really do care. He really love these guys. He could have gone ANYWHERE, but he chose Jackson state. I salute this man. He' s also a very nice down to earth young man. I met him at Wal mart when I worked there on Statebridge Road. He was very nice. May God bless this young man and his family.
I am hooked on Mr. Sanders interviews. Every time I listen to him I learn something new and impactful. Big up yourself Mr. Sanders, Respect 🇯🇲 Respect.
Nobody talks about what all students go through in these times. Covid 19. Natural disasters. Joblessness all while trying to learn in a higher education environment. Big up to students and athletes keep striving for greatness.
Uplifting, Motivational, God Sent, Selfless, Inspirational, Real, Respect, Meaningful, Hope, Praise, Belief, Faith!!! All can be said in two words THANK YOU 🙏💯💐!!!!
Pure jealousy with the thumbs down. Challenging questions from A-Z. Very good answers from coach. He qualifies. God truly called him for this gift of coaching.
Gm may the Hand of God continue 🙏 to be upon 🙏 Coach Deion Sanders and the Anointed with Godly Wisdom so He can continue to empower our youth, in Christ Bishop Stells
