Thanks for the post but we did a complete audio test with the kit to show you the amazing quality of the audio this mic provides. It will vary somewhat depending on your phone/tablet but it has some of the clearest audio of any wireless setup we've every reviewed.

@@Dronevalley Sure, but it would be nice to see how it works in actual *mobile* scenarios. E.g., is there a difference between direct usb-c connection to an Android phone vs a phono connection to an iPhone? Or can you connect it some other way to the iPhone?

The audio is pretty much the same for the USB-C and the 3.5mm connection. To use it with the iPhone you'll need to add an external Lightning to mic adapter.

@@GadgetHero1 So on android the audio is read directly in perfect digital form, but on iphones it's converted back to analog and then back to digital again, i.e. 2 quality-reducing extra steps. What does this do to the noise floor? Can it introduce clipping? Some other extra loss in quality?
