I have heard about this event but hearing some of the comments, esp from Joe, really shed light on the uniqueness and rare beer sampling experience of it. It would be fun to show up as a hanger-on and be able to try a few things. ha.

This event looks awesome. There are so many old-style beers that have been forgotten with time. Considering beer has been brewed for thousands of years in every culture it would be amazing to find some of these obscure styles to try and bring history full circle to the days of old-style brewing... Since this year we lost one of the oldest breweries in the country (Anchor Brewing) it would be awesome if you guys did an episode dedicated to them and talked about the complexity of Steam Beer and how its uniqueness brought Ales and Lagers together in a very cool way..
