This is an awesome way to upscale and increase the quality of Midjourney (or any) images so that they can be used for Print On Demand.
Recently, I’ve been using Midjourney for my Print on Demand AI images. Midjourney is a great AI image generator that you can use for Amazon KDP books as well as Print On Demand (PoD) merch.
Here is the Midjourney prompt mentioned in the video.

To delete backgrounds: clippingmagic.com/
To vectorize (free so far, is only in beta): vectorizer.ai/
In this video I show you the whole process. I start with the prompt for Midjourney. Then so you how to delete the background and vectorize the image. And then show you how to upscale the vector so it saves as a PNG that's 4500 x 5400 px at 300 dpi which is what you need for Merch by Design at Amazon and all other PoD sites. I do that with Inkscape.

Works really well for me. If you want, you can upscale the preview images with Upscayl, but I found it doesn't make much difference in my case. Clipping magic gives pretty good results fast. Together with vectorizer ai, it's a killer combo. 😎 Thanks for sharing! 💪

As of May 2024, you can only download one image per day despite registration. The image must have a resolution of no more than 1448px x 2172px

Good, but when image has gradients, the vector shows multi facets colors. Can this problem be solved?

Yes, I do negative prompts in Midjourney so you don't get them in the first place. Something like this: vector graphics --no gradients blends that usually does the trick.

As we say in these videos, Paul, you only should vectorize certain types of images. Basically, in Midjourney, you should put "vector graphics" or "flat colors" in the prompt so you get a vector-type image. Otherwise, if it's photorealistic or a painting you shouldn't bother.

I'll tell you this background remover is fantastic but... the amount they want adds up quickly. I tried your method but the vector quailty was crap. My files weren't as simple as yours, though. I upscaled the images in Gigapixel and then vectorized them. They look better than they did just vectorizing the sample file.

Yes, you have to specify "vector artwork" or "flat colors" in the prompt. You can only vectorize an image that looks like vector artwork in the first place. You can't do it with photo realistic images. There's times when vectors work and times when they don't.
