I thought that the 7.3 trucks never came with a cat? At least my 2001 never came with one (even though it did have a custom exhaust already installed).

Old comment, but usually the 7.3s have cats IF, they were sold in California. We got a 2002 7.3 F-250 that came with a cat, but our 2002 7.3 Excursion never came with one, as it was sold in another state.

I know the OBS trucks were hit and miss and I’m not sure. I know for a fact that any super duty’s with a ZF6 in them came with a cat regardless off the year. The autos are a different story.

Should of just got a 4 inch turbo back straight pipe and be done with it… much simpler than Frankensteining that stock system

I just bought a 1999 burgundy and Gray With the long bed original owner truck I love it! In 1999 I rented a truck exactly like yours same color everything to the T order everything to the T to pull my boat from Jacksonville to the keys and back because I didn't want to tear up my F150 that I owned at the time , I rented the truck in Jacksonville from from budget car rental background and they told me I could not pull anything with it soon as I looked at the back of the truck it came with It's a topackage so I did whatever normal American would do but do proceeded to pull my boat. Every since I have rented that truck I've always wanted one I own a small plumbing company and I rent escalators from Sunbelt rental Last week I went in to Sunbelt the diesel mechanic there Had this truck it was his grandfather's . He has 3 of these trucks so I asked him what he was gonna do with it he said I would probably sell it I paid $10000 for it the truck is immaculate under the hood it's super clean so I think I got a good . I don't want to do much mods to it but I would like to delete the muffler And resonator I think it will work good for what I'm doing These trucks are awesome I will never go back to an F150

I really don’t see the point of this video especially the description being all in caps telling people to destroy their Cadillac converter now! when the video really doesn’t explain why you would do this other than just to make your truck more obnoxiously loud? I mean you don’t go into any benefits of why you would do this you just do it and then talk about how loud your truck is now so good for you you annoy all your neighbors more than before lol I’ll be leaving mine on.

Cat deletes add minor power and increase flow it all around betters your vehicle. As long as you get tuned after there’s no downsides other than noise if you don’t like the loud then buy a aftermarket muffler and than it will sound better too
