I don't agree. The US has done that what you are talking against. The Europe has done that what you are saying can't be done. Japan, South Korea , Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand has done that what you are saying can't be done. China has done good, but remember Indian people are not someone who bow down to leader. They are freedom fighters, they are warrior class. India is a union of states. That means many states came together to form a country called India. Many joined solely for the fact that India is a democracy. A country of the people for the people by the people. One point people like you forget is that China is homogeneous society. India is a very diverse land. From Punjabis, Marathis, Oriyas, Malyalams, Tamika, Gujaratis etc. all different from one another. Different language, different ideology, different regional issues. That was not the case in China. Believe many states and their people won't be comfortable with the idea of a dictatorship. Example Punjab. It's people are not what you can force for a dictatorship. So is for the little bit more educated South , particularly Tamil Nadu, Kerala. The rich isn't going to tolerate that either, the urban elite, Delhi NCT, Mumbai. Nor will West Bengal align with this ideology. And remember Sikkim joined India , for the fear that dictator China will invade it, so it became part of democratic India. There are tonnes of success stories of being rich by being a democracy. So stop crying democracy vs dictatorship better. And focus on educating people, giving good healthcare and make them future ready. Stay away from religious violence. I believe we'll achieve our targets of being a rich country in this century, even by being a democracy. Remember if we become dictatorship now, the world isn't going to like that either. We might be sanctioned by the world. They don't want another China.

Yes cause its the only major region for north , east , central and even nepal and northeast india to settle , survive and for earn , so govt. Should focus on NCR as much as possible , it should be able to handle and provide direct and indirect employment to around 10 CR youths , BTW NCR ( delhi + south haryana + west up + 2 rj districts) have larger Gsdp then Maharashtra around 600 Billion ,, also Gdp per capita and HDI are too high as well in this region

I wish New Delhi Railway Station Redevelopment will be world class, and will make us all proud. Not something like Bhopal's Habibganj station Redevelopment, which is low level Redevelopment from what was proposed in design.

India rank in GDP rose from 12th in 2004 to 10 in 2014 to now 5 in 2024, slated to be 4th next year, courtesy Modi government policies... even in this global downturn India is growing.. Khangress was promising to make India world third largest economy by 2043... Modi is predicted to do the same by 2026... that is the difference.

Delays of trains are not a big issue now... Normally, as I travel very frequently, I find that people are not aware of connecting train timings, and sheer laziness at times because theydo not wish to take trouble of lying down in rooms which are some distance from the platforms the train is expected to arrive at. Secondly, many passengers who travel from longer distances (distant villages/suburbs) to board trains at termini, arrive hours before scheduled departure of trains. Then there are people who are nuisance creators anyway
