Woah I'm always on the lookout for good improved Painkiller recipes... and you deliver!! That looks like an amazing riff of a painkiller, I'll have to try it this weekend!! I'm also a mega-fan of Angostura bitters base cocktails, Angostura Colada definitely being one of my favorites, I've yet to try the Not-my-real-trinidaddy despite my love for Kevin Beary cocktails, just cause I never have Sherry laying around. And yes... I'm with ya on the scary amount of OJ, I usually avoid it! 😅 fantastic episode
The original Painkiller also has Pusser's Rum. Like, legally. Had to call my bar's version the Brainchiller so the rum-police wouldn't come after us. 😆
@@RobsHomeBar Yeah! Well, at least Goslings is easy to find and pretty affordable. I can't remember if you've ever made your own ginger beer, but it's a really fun easy home bar thing to do if you haven't (or did the 100 mules make you never want to touch the stuff again?).
@@RobsHomeBar Four dashes is the most I have ever used in a drink. I did wonder what was going on when you popped the lid off. I didn't have to do that with mine, I thought, but no sooner had that thought flashed across my brain, you were already measuring it out. My face did a bit of a thing at seeing it. It has to be SOOO overpowering.
