Hot Chocolate Mixture-
7 tbsp of Dutch processed cocoa powder
7 tbsp of granulated sugar
1 tsp of cornstarch *
*The cornstarch is used to help thicken up the hot chocolate. Feel free to skip this step, but use a thicker milk like whole milk or oat milk.
Add 2 tbsp of mixture to 8 oz of warm milk.
Yields- 8 servings
Peppermint Hot Chocolate
4 tbsp Dutch processed cocoa powder
3 tbsp granulated sugar
2 tbsp chocolate chips
2 heaping tbsp crushed up candy canes (about 2 regular sized candy canes)
Top off with mini marshmallows
Remove the marshmallows from the jar. Heat 2 cups of milk in a stove top pot, add this mixture, stirring until contents are dissolved. Pour into mugs and top with marshmallows.
Yields- 2- 8 oz.servings
Cookies & Cream Hot Chocolate
4 tbsp Dutch processed cocoa powder
3 tbsp granulated sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp crushed up cookies (about 2 crushed up regular sized Oreo cookies. Leave the cream in.)
