I haven’t heard about that in years!! My MawMaw used to make that when I was little🥰. It was okay, but not a fav of mine. There are different variations, but basically fruit, jello and marshmallow cream refrigerated.

My tree I put up today. And my outdoor lights I put out day after Thanksgiving. I usually try to get my decorations out before thanksgiving. I love Christmas. And I leave my tree up until mid January.

Those leftovers look GOOOOOOOD. You asked when we decorate for xmas--my daughter comes over on Black Friday and instead of shopping or whatever else people do that day, she and my husband DESTROY the whole house putting out decorations and assembling the tree. It's literally the nightmare before xmas. But at least the cat loves it 😂

I cooked dressing with gravey, greens, rolls, rack of lamb , I like the ocean cranberry sauce in the can . Ham, Turkey candied yams 🍠 . Dessert peach cobbler, cheese cake , sweet potato pie . I'm southern and I've never heard of the watergate salad. My favorite food is collards and dressing. I make my dressing using cornbread not the box stuff. Then i like pinto beans. I also made the vegan chitlins. Pre vegan i stopped eating them 20 years ago. But a vegan chef made them and i had to try them.
