The art style actually looks quite nice for a modern anime and I like how the gradients aren't bring over used in the hair along with too many shines.

Well, it make the animator easier Detailed Characters = Plain Color. and actually Smooth Animation have plain color too, maybe what you mean "over" is vfx. and yeah, some modern anime have too much vfx.

This is my favorite kind of artstyle. It relies more on drawings and less on overly used shiny effects. Fate strange fake did the same and it was too good.

Heard someone say once that shows like Spy Family and Buddy Daddies were trying to subliminally convince Japanese people to have kids - I didn’t think anything about it at the time but now I’m side eyeing production companies lol. This is super cute but also what is going on 🤣

What is going on is that nobody is having kids. So you need more wholesome animes to show the how cute it could be. Kinda like how kids that grew up with Barny the Dinosaur knew how to clean up by singing the song.

@00useresu00 Yeah, there's definitely something short-sighted if these production companies think that people will start having kids if they just advertise it harder. If the powers that be really cared about people having kids, they'd make better standards of living more easily accessible IRL (and recognizing that not everyone would make good parents). I wouldn't be surprised if the powers that be also underestimate that what people want is quality over quantity.

They honestly need it. Their culture and economy is really going to plummet if they don’t incentivize having children while working. There has to be some reward involved, which is kinda sad to think about, it shouldn’t be so difficult to financially support one or two kids. It’s true, having a child isn’t easy, but when raised in love and care, they can become wonderful allies, friends, and family.

True, but i look it up and unfortunately it's not the same the same animation studio as Bongo Stray Dogs. The studio is J.C STAFF, the chief animation director and characters designer must be inspired by the art style, but it looks really good and captivating.

I love that CR used an outdated trailer as is. The trailer says it starts on july, but the anime has already announced a few days ago that it got delayed to august. Gotta love CR showing their incompetence and lack of care
