The table: 1) Michael Van Gerwen: +10pts 2) Michael Smith: +9pts 3) Gerwyn Price: +8pts 4) Nathan Aspinall: +7pts 5) Chris Dobey: +5pts 6) Dimitri Van den Bergh: +5pts 7) Jonny Clayton: +4pts 8) Peter Wright: +0pts Also do you guys want me to keep posting the table every week, is it useful or is it repetitive?
I wanted to write the same thing. So often your eyes go to the top comment unintentionally. You saved the whole excitement and experience of watching the video. Respect++++
Already is huge. On Thursdays now I’ll happily not watch football if the darts is on…. Football is dying. Less and less are interested in it now in this country
@@Shalomx1 There are football fans and then rest of the sports fans. I stopped watching footy when Beckham, Zidane, real Ronaldo, Carlos etc stopped. Also makes it easier to avoid Qatar mass-killing of workers to please rich oil sheiks.
Well they do see each other more than their families! Save for the odd bit of needle during a match incident, most of them get on fine. Punters read too much into what's said in interviews, and a bit of vocal on stage.
5am and I've just got home from Dublin to west Cork. Bloody brilliant night out. Seriously cannot recommend it enough. Van Gerwen deserved the win, Gezzy missing the 9 darter, boooooo!!! 😉
Wow, what a night of darts again. Some sensational performances in there from Price and Van Gerwen and fittingly they were both in the final. Price will know he should have won that, 5-2 up and twice throwing for the match, and on top of that having 7 match darts, u dont see players lose from that position very often. But thats y we love the darts. U just never know when its over. What a tense ending, Price could have won 6-4 and then it went 5-5 and the last leg in general was tense until Price had 160 left and left D10 whilst MVG was on 178 but then missing 3 clear darts at double there cost him and then even when MVG didnt take out the 38 i knew its gonna be difficult for Price coz 5 is never an easy finish and when u add the moment it was in, being a last leg decider, it was always gonna be difficult. Such a crucial leg that could turn out to be as whoever won would have topped the table heading into week 5. The good thing is these 2 play each other first next week so MVG got a chance to go further ahead or Price could tie level with MVG on 10 pts before Smith plays and then he could go top with a win. Its so close and its gonna be great fun to see how the table develops as the weeks go on.
Much agreed, I thought price had it at 5-2 but MVG doing MVG things and winning 4 on the trot. And another reason we love darts is its unpredictability. Van Gerwen jumped from 6th to 1st in one night and that's what's so unique about this premier league. It can chop and change every week.
Pity Price had so many misses. Deserved to win really. I had a great night though cheering Price on. Great atmosphere at the 3 arena. Loved every minute of it
I must say its nice to see price smile and look happy - ish, and congratulate his opponent when he loses, makes a massive difference from him sulking and storming off without picking his toys up on his way to the exit - maybe he may start growing on me and a few others who have disliked him in the past for his bad sportsmanship.
He's only like that when he doesn't get a fair crack from the crowd. He's a true competitive sportsman, give a bit and take a bit, but the crowd take it the wrong way and go too far. Pantomime villain is one thing, but abuse and affecting the game is another. Fair enough, at the World's he was under real pressure, defending serious money and No1 ranking. Wasn't playing his best darts, and had that lot to contend with.
It was probably a condition on him being picked for the PL. He was the most contentious pick and if he'd carried on all the antics of the past year or so, the boo boys would have been on his back every week.
Still can't win another WC though can he 🤣 3 for 6 worst finals percentage in the history of the tournament for any player that's played 5 or more finals Total Tulip Munching Dutch Troll Nonce
MVG deserved winner. Price had his chances and couldn't take them. Price needs to work on his finishes under pressure if he wants to win trophies again.
I am new into dart which are the most precious tournament in dart which player want to win the most....it will wonderful if you give me all the name of dart tournament ranking wise....
This green shirt from price was really nice addition to the mostly boring red and Black coloured shirts. Still red one from Cardiff was better but I am curious what outfit he Will bring to Rotterdam. Maybe Orange shirt?
Is there any chance of a neutral thumbnail on these highlight videos to not reveal who likely progressed in the tournament/featured heavily in the night? It doesn’t add anything, it only takes away from the experience of watching the highlights so it’s quite frustrating to see and difficult to avoid. Thanks
SPOILERS Hmmm yeah I agree but I think they've got a lot better recently anyway. The first 2 nights had thumbnails that featured two players that were playing in Round 1 anyway so that didn't really have any spoilers. Night 3's thumbnail was just a complete trick, it's only Night 4 that pretty much had a player confirmed to make it far.
Having someone like Dobey in the thumbnail won't give them the engagement they want to casual darts fans. Because proper darts fans will watch this regardless. It's frustrating but can understand it.
I've complained about this many times. So frustrating. I think its the PDC's way of torturing people who don't pay for PDC TV (which is shit btw). Also, they spend all their time shutting down the amazing darts channels who show full matches without spoilers. As someone who moves around the world a lot those channels were my lifeline.
Against Smith? The crowd just favored Smith, or, as sometimes happens, they want to see the tightest match possible = the most darts possible. I'm sure Peter realizes that, and that he hasn't suddenly become the enemy.
I am starting to get into dart so i want to support underdog who did not won any title i know van gerwen is the previous winner of premiere league title and smith is world chamipions so who among them did not won anything...
@@markholroyde9412 not really price got lucky to go 5-2 up with mvg missing multiple darts to hold, and yeah price missed 7 match darts but he only has himself to blame, sometimes a bit of luck is all you need to get over the line
I am English and want th English lads to do well. But think the morons who boo/heckle price are cheating themselves and the other people who have paid to be there out of the best possible match the players could have provided. Because I think it puts both player's off.
